About Scott

Scott H. McLemore began his legal career in 1997, at a preeminent firm and was very soon on a trial team in 1999, which was responsible for the largest verdict in the nation in the Fen-Phen diet drug litigation. Subsequently, Scott was appointed class counsel in commercial class action cases, and also obtained a $30mm award in arbitration for a deserving client in a contested products liability matter. Recently, in 2010, Scott represented the intervenor and was co-trial counsel in a theft of trade secrets case, with a $393mm verdict.

He has worked in complex products liability, personal injury, commercial litigation and civil trials, since the beginning and throughout his career. Significant verdicts and settlements have been obtained for his clients in products liability, personal injury and theft of trade secrets and other commercial cases.

To prepare to become a lawyer, Scott obtained his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law, participating on a number of National Mock Trial and National Moot Court Teams. While in law school, he was inducted into the Order of The Barrister’s and received the American Jurisprudence Award for Trial Advocacy.
