Later, I earned my Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University in 2008 which started my career in law. I have also represented clients with loan modifications on their homes as well as deed's in lieu of foreclosure, short sales, and the rescinding of foreclosures. There are many alternatives to bankruptcy which my law firm has dealt with as well including credit card problem negotiation, offer-in-compromise and tax installment agreement. In three years, Rob assisted several royalties owners to achieve multi-million dollar settlements for underpayment of natural gas royalties, with his efforts culminating in a ten-million-dollar settlement on behalf of a class of royalty owners in three Colorado counties. After spending time in private practice, Rob saw a disturbing trend. Far too many of the litigants he saw in court were self-represented. Worse still, most of them could achieve their case goals with quality representation, but could not afford a lawyer. Then Rob considered creating a law firm that would eschew the traditional model and bring legal service to everyone. And out of the desire to buck the trend, Titus Law Firm, LLC was born. Attorney Kimberly Hamel Wochholz is from Kissimmee, Florida. She graduated with honors from the University of Central Florida in 2004. While enrolled at the University of Central Florida she interned with the Legal Aid Society of Orange County Florida; whose principal undertaking is to provide professional legal services for the disadvantaged. Mrs. Wochholz then enrolled in the College of Law at Stetson University. During law school she completed the Honors Program and served as an editor on the Stetson Law Review. She also served as an intern with the family law division of the 13th Judicial Circuit, Hillsborough County, Florida, and later joined the Consumer Rights Law Group as a law clerk. Mrs. Wochholz graduated magna cum laude from Stetson Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2011. Since that time, Mrs. Wochholz has proudly litigated against banks, bill collectors, and other companies on behalf of hundreds of consumers. Mrs. Wochholz practices exclusively under consumer protection statutes that require businesses to pay the attorney’s fees of prevailing consumers. These statutes allow attorneys to represent consumers, who often can’t afford to pay an attorney out of pocket, on a contingency basis whereby leveling the playing field between businesses and consumers. James Elliott is a native of Tampa, Florida. After graduating from Tampa Jesuit High School, he attended the University of Florida where he received a Bachelor of Arts, and then continued his education at the Florida State University where he received a Master of Arts. Mr. Elliott received his Juris Doctor degree from the Syracuse University College of Law, where he served as Articles Editor for the Labor Lawyer Journal, and earned a Certificate of Concentration in Corporate Counsel. Mr. Elliott also earned a Certificate in Financial Management from Cornell University, and was named a Super Lawyer rising star in 2017. He has published several articles in various legal journals around the country, including the American Bankruptcy Institute Journal. Mr. Elliott began his career as a judicial extern with a former bankruptcy judge, Judge Stephen D. Gerling of the Northern District of New York. Mr. Elliott then continued to practice bankruptcy law and consumer protection in Tampa, Florida and joined the McIntyre Thanasides law firm in 2010. Mr. Elliott represents clients through personal and business bankruptcy, as well as out-of-court debt restructurings.
