Adam D. Cahn is a seasoned litigator, who began his legal career in 1994. His primary focus is representing individuals in personal injury and medical malpractice matters at all levels of state and federal practice. He lectures in the field of trial advocacy and is regularly sought by local newspapers, television and radio stations for his expertise on matters in the legal field. Mr. Cahn has obtained numerous verdicts and settlements throughout New York state on cases involving CRPS/RSD injuries; construction accidents, brain injury litigation, products liability, medical malpractice, lead paint exposure, sexual harassment and general negligence. His litigation background has included criminal defense, corporate and commercial representation. Mr. Cahn earned his law degree at night from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, while juggling a full-time job in real estate finance. At Touro, he was a member of Law Review and received American Jurisprudence Award for outstanding achievement in both Trial Practice and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He co-founded the Touro Environmental Law Journal and was a recipient of the Gary M. Schwartz Fellowship, for which he was awarded a paid judicial internship. He received his undergraduate degree in business management from the A.B. Freeman School of Business, Tulane University.

Adam has published articles on accounting and tax in BNA and decanting irrevocable trusts in the Nassau Lawyer. In addition, Adam has substituted as a law professor at Hofstra University’s School of Law and St. Johns Law School on trusts and estates drafting and tax law, lectured and participated in panels at Cardozo Law School and has given classes and presentations in various forums. Adam earned his Juris Doctor at Fordham University School of Law, where he was Notes and Articles Editor for the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law. Additionally, Adam was selected as teacher’s assistant and student coordinator of a research team to publish a treatise on International Law. After law school, he received his Master of Laws in Taxation, with a focus on Trusts and Estates, from New York University School of Law in 2008, where he was elected to be Director of the NYU Law & Business Association and volunteered as a mediator in the NYU Mediation Clinic. Paul Romano has extensive experience in prosecuting and defending claims against executors, administrators, trustees, and guardians in Harris County, Fort Bend County, Brazoria County, Wharton County, Victoria County, Jackson County, Montgomery County, as well as other counties throughout the State of Texas. Paul received his undergraduate education at the University of Texas in Austin. Upon graduation, Paul had a burning desire to serve his country, so he joined the U.S. Army. His time in the service took him all over the world, including assignments in Germany, Korea, and Honduras. After serving five years in the Army, Paul decided he couldn’t neglect his life-long dream of becoming an attorney any longer. He attended the University of Texas School of Law and graduated in 2002. Paul began his legal career practicing in Victoria, TX, where he discovered his passion for trust and estate litigation. In 2009, he moved to Sugar Land to be closer to his family, and in 2013, Paul and Kenneth Sumner combined their practices to open Romano & Sumner, PLLC.

Jill Goldenberg Schuman concentrates in the areas of family law and alternative dispute resolution. Ms. Goldenberg Schuman received her B.S. degree with distinction in business from Indiana University in 1990 and her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Boston University School of Law in 1993. She has been with Cohen Garelick & Glazier since graduation. Jill is certified by the Indiana Certifying Organization of the Indiana Bar Association as an Indiana Certified Family Law Specialist. She is a registered domestic mediator. Since undergoing mediation training in 2002, she has mediated 100’s of cases. She has also served as a family law arbitrator. Ms. Goldenberg Schuman devotes the majority of her practice to family law matters or mediations and arbitrations involving family law matters. She has been a lecturer in various family law and alternative dispute resolution topics for the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum and has several published family law appellate decisions. She was recognized in 2007 - 2016 as a Best Lawyer in her field of family law and was also recognized in 2008-2016 as a Super Lawyer in her field. From 2011-2016 she was selected as one of Indiana’s Top 50 Super Lawyers and in 2009-2016 as one of Indiana’s Top 25 Women Super Lawyers.

Ken is one of the founding Partners and is responsible for both the management of the firm and is the head of the Workers’ Compensation practice. He is a member of the Workers’ Injury Law Group, W.I.L.G., which is a national organization dedicated to protecting the rights of injured persons throughout the country. Ken has represented both injured workers and employers at all levels of the administrative process, including dealing with the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) as well as appearing before the Industrial Commission of Ohio (IC) since 1995. He has also been involved in litigation before the Common Pleas Courts throughout Ohio and has been involved in Mandamus Actions before the Court of Appeals and the Ohio Supreme Court. Ken is a graduate of Wittenberg University (Summa Cum Laude, 1991) and a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Law (1994). He has also taught a Business Law Class as an Adjunct Professor at Wittenberg University during 2010 and 2011 and has participated in the evaluation of Senior Business Majors final projects on several occasions at his alma mater.
