Attorney Josh Tomsheck is a Partner in the Las Vegas Trial Lawyer firm of Hofland & Tomsheck and heads both the Criminal Trial and Personal Injury Practice Groups for the firm. Mr. Tomsheck is a veteran Las Vegas Trial lawyer who has chosen to commit his practice to fighting for the rights of others who have been injured or charged with crimes. Prior to forming Hofland & Tomsheck with long-time Las Vegas Attorney Bradley J. Hofland, who leads the firms Family Law and Civil Litigation practice groups, Attorney Tomsheck worked for many years as a Chief Deputy District Attorney in the Clark County DA's office as a criminal Trial prosecutor. Due to Josh's work ethic and skill in Trial he was promoted quickly within the DA's office and was assigned to the Gun Crimes Section of the Major Violators Unit where he specialized in Trials involving violent felonies and firearms cases.

Criminal Court is a place where someone's life can be irrevocably changed for the worse. I have born witness to incredible injustice being done to innocent people. I have also seen a person sacrificed and thrown away by the system without being given any chance at redemption. Seeing these stories play out is what drives me as a defense attorney, to protect people from being crushed by the system.

Eric Krupp completed his undergraduate education at Butler University with a B.A. in Telecommunications and a minor in Business Administration. He was awarded his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis, Indiana. Upon successful completion of the bar exam in 2003, he began his legal career as a criminal defense attorney with the Marion County Public Defender Agency. For 15 years he was a zealous advocate for individuals in Marion County who were deemed to be indigent by the Courts. He represented clients accused of a misdemeanor, low level, and major felony crimes. For more than a decade he concentrated his practice at the agency in the defense of those accused of major felony drug crimes. During the last 2 years of his employment at the agency, he was the supervising attorney in the major felony drug and gun court. He tried numerous cases to both the Court and jury during his employment at the agency. Beginning in 2005, Eric also began engaging in the private practice of law, focusing on criminal defense. He has handled hundreds of matters over the years for individuals accused of traffic infractions, misdemeanors, felonies, and murder. He has traveled across the state of Indiana on behalf of individuals who need representation in matters that can affect their livelihood and freedom.

James N. Scarff, II, is a transplant from Jackson, Mississippi, where he was born and raised. After high school he initially played football at the University of Mississippi until an injury ended his football career. He then transferred to Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi where he would receive his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in May 2003. Shortly thereafter, James received his Master of Business Administration degree from Millsaps College in May 2005. While at Millsaps College he received the Millsaps Award, Endowed Scholarship, and the Dean’s Scholarship. In August of 2005, James began law school at Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi. While in law school, James was a member of the Environmental Law Society and one of the founding members of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, while managing to stay on the Dean’s List. After graduating in the top quarter of his law school class, James went to work for The Penton Law Firm out of Bogalusa, Louisiana where he practiced Mass Tort Litigation. His firm also served on the Plaintiff Steering Committee (PSC) for those harmed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. His main focus at the firm was global pharmaceutical settlements and Multi-District Litigation (MDL). Those cases included Vytorin, Vioxx, Celebrex, Viagra, DPC Arizona, and other mass tort actions. Over $400 million in settlement funds was distributed. In June 2009, James moved back home to his roots in Jackson, MS and started his own practice. At Scarff Law Firm, LLC, James took on personal injury cases, domestic/family law cases, DUI, criminal defense, and business transactions. At that time, he was also general counsel for three separate businesses. While continuing his own practice, James became a trial lawyer associate at The McRae Law Firm, PLLC, in May 2012 and worked on briefing appeals to the Mississippi Supreme Court as well as Federal Court in the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi. In December 2015, James reconnected with his old high school sweetheart who had moved to Omaha, Nebraska after college. After a brief courtship, he married Emily Knight Scarff in May 2017 and promptly moved to Omaha, Nebraska. Where he shares a blended family with his wife. He has two step-sons, Hayden and Hudson Koesters, and a new addition to the Scarff Family came in September 2018, Colt Hayes Scarff. James also has a daughter, Emery Rose Scarff, who resides with her mother back in Mississippi.

Christian W. Francis is a trial lawyer serving Northeast Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. His practice is focused on representing individuals and small businesses in civil and commercial matters. In his civil practice, Christian concentrates on car and tractor-trailer accidents; medical malpractice lawsuits; slip and fall accidents; and, product liability lawsuits. Christian also defends individuals in all types of misdemeanor and felony crimes, from drunk driving (driving under the influence/DUI) to major crimes, in both state and federal courts. Christian has successfully handled trials and appeals to the Superior Court on behalf of his civil and criminal clients. Christian completed his undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University and received his law degree from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Law. During law school, he clerked for a District Judge in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and worked for several prominent civil litigation firms in Pittsburgh. Most recently, he worked for a large regional defense firm where he defended insurance companies, hospitals, and a multinational transportation company in civil and commercial matters. Christian's experience defending these organizations in high stakes litigation has given him a distinct advantage that he can now use against these types of defendants in his current practice. Christian is admitted to practice in all of Pennsylvania’s state courts and the United States District Court for the Middle and Eastern Districts. Born and raised in the area, Christian currently resides in South Abington with his wife and three children.

Cincinnati native Bradley J. Groene is a compassionate and industrious legal advocate who has been practicing law in the greater Cincinnati metropolitan area for five years. Brad’s sole practice areas comprise criminal defense, OVI / DUI, and traffic offenses. He has successfully represented clients charged with a wide range of offenses ranging from minor misdemeanors to the most serious felony cases. Brad received his bachelor of science in Business from Miami University in 2005 and his juris doctor from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 2008. He learned the complexities of the criminal justice system and handled actual cases in Hamilton County. Following law school, Brad continued to gain more experience in the criminal arena. He has successfully defended clients facing all kinds of criminal charges from drug offenses to OVIs to domestic violence. Specifically, he has won numerous bench trials in front of judges, argued cases in front of all of the local prosecutors, and has truly gained an understanding for effectively handling a criminal defense case. Brad is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in Ohio as well as Kentucky. He is certified and trained by the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration to perform field sobriety tests that law enforcement typically conduct. He also participates in speaking engagements at the Wellness Certified Driver Intervention Program to discuss OVI and DUI law. In his spare time, Brad enjoys spending time with his wife and newborn daughter, watching and attending Cincinnati Reds and Bengals games, playing softball, golfing, spending time with friends, and playing board games with his family.
