A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Mr. Haskins graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and interned with the South Carolina House of Representatives, the South Carolina Senate, and worked as a Special Assistant in the Public Affairs Division for the South Carolina Office of the Attorney General. Mr. Haskins then attended Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, where he obtained his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. At Florida Coastal, he was Parliamentarian of the Student Bar Association Legislature and Chief Justice of the Honor Court. Having graduated Florida Coastal in two and one-half years, Mr. Haskins passed the Alaska Bar Examination and became a Member of the Alaska Bar Association. After Florida Coastal, he attended American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C., where he obtained his Master of Law (LL.M.) degree in Law & Government, specializing in Law, Politics, and Legislation, with a concentration on Civil & Constitutional Rights. While at American, he interned in the United States Senate and was a Legal Fellow for United States Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC). Mr. Haskins also helped found the Alaska Bar Association Federal Regulatory Practice Section in Washington, D.C. Attorney Robert (Bob) Canfield was born and raised in Rockford, IL. He graduated from Guilford High School in 1965. After joining the Army in February of 1968, he went on to Army flight school and graduated 2nd in his flight class. He spent a year in Vietnam flying CH-47 Chinook helicopters for the 101st Airborne Division and then returned to Fort Rucker, Alabama, as an Instrument Flight Instructor. Following active Duty, he attended the University of Minnesota where he received his BA in psychology in 1976 and his Law degree in 1978. After taking and passing both the Illinois and Minnesota bar exam in the fall of 1978, he settled back in Rockford to practice law. Professionally, he started his law career working with an insurance defense firm. After a couple of years, he started his own practice and has spent decades practicing law on his own or in partnership with others. He currently is the owner and senior attorney with his firm, Canfield & McKenna. He maintains a general practice with an emphasis in the areas of Family Law, Real Estate Law, Probate Law, Wills and Trusts and Business/Corporation Law. He is also a Court Certified Mediator for the Family Court. In addition to his legal training and experience, he has enjoyed giving back to his community, both in military and civic service. After leaving active duty, he joined the Minnesota National Guard and, later, the Wisconsin National Guard, where he flew Helicopters until he retired after almost 30 years of military service. He retired with over 4000 flight hours and as an Army Master Aviator. While in the military, he had the privilege of flying Bob Hope, H. Ross Perot, Vice President Hubert Humphry and Vice President Walter Mondale, among others. Bob is very active in his community. He is past president of Riverfront Museum Park, Rockford Dance Company, and Rockford Rotary; past chair of the Rockford Fair Housing Board; and past commander of Rockford Sail and Power Squadron and District 20 of the United States Power Squadrons (America’s Boating Club). He is active in his church, Second/First and formerly Second Congregational Church, where he is former Chair of the Board of Deacons and Board of Trustees, and is currently the chair of the Discernment and Vision team. He has also taught Law and Economics at Rock Valley College. He has served and still serves on many other boards and committees. He is currently President of Rockford Day Nursery, and teaches the public boating class at Rock Valley College. An avid boater, he has sailed and boated in many countries, including Greece, Thailand, France, Canada and has boated all the Great Lakes and the Mississippi River. He is a graduate of The Nautical School of Maritime Licensing and has earned multiple certificates from the American Sailing Association, and he currently boats out of his home port of Racine, Wisconsin. As a retired military officer, he emphasizes integrity, compassion, preparation and honesty when dealing with clients. He is a highly experienced lawyer and is well qualified to handle your case.

Robert Elrod, Jr. is a Jacksonville native who has practiced law since 1999. After completing high school at the Bolles School, he attended the University of Florida and graduated with a B.A. in History in 1994. He then attended law school at Cumberland Law School in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated in 1999. After becoming a member of Florida Bar in 1999, Mr. Elrod, Jr. practiced law with his father and law partner, Robert W. Elrod, Sr., until his father passed away in 2017. Mr. Elrod, Jr. primarily practices law in the areas of family law, including divorce, paternity, child custody and child support matters, bankruptcy, and other civil litigation including foreclosure and collections defense. He has represented clients throughout Northeast Florida both in state and federal court, in the First District Court of Appeals in Tallahassee and in the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta. Bob lives in Jacksonville and is active in his church. He is married and has a son and two daughters. Linda was born in Yaoundé, Cameroon but grew up in Austin, Texas. She moved to Houston this year to focus on her career in family law. Linda knew at a very young age she wanted to be an advocate for others. Even though she loves to argue she also knows being an attorney is so much more than “fighting in court or with others.” The law challenges you to think outside the box, become an imaginative and creative thinker and to approach every case in a new and innovative way. Human and children’s rights and having unlimited access to mental health resources and services are causes very close to Linda’s heart. She is very passionate about helping others, which she displays to her clients each day. Her compassion for all those around her shines through and has helped make her the thoughtful attorney she is today. Linda is an avid baker and “chef.” She also enjoys traveling, spending time with her friends and family and has recently taken an interest gardening.
