Attorney Dana W. Duncan is a native Wisconsinite, whose family has lived in the State since the 1840s. He comes from a family of hard-working people – his grandparents were dairy farmers and his parents were factory workers. He grew up understanding hard work and earning a paycheck. Attorney Duncan has experience and understanding of what clients are going through – his mother was a diabetic who went blind due to retinopathy in her 40s. He watched her cry over having to quit the job she loved. He also looked on as his father fought an insurance company over a back injury and then fought the Veteran’s Administration to give him his VA rating. Next, his father had to fight Social Security to give him disability benefits when his military injuries and age forced him to quit working later in life. These events profoundly changed him and changed his views about disability and workers’ compensation. He has built his career to assist those who need his aid. For these reasons, Duncan Disability Law S.C. was established. Originally from Beloit, Wisconsin, Dana has lived in the Wisconsin Rapids area since 1994 where he founded Duncan Disability Law S.C. He has represented thousands of disabled clients throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota in Social Security law and workers' compensation. When Dana is not working, you'll find him reading, watching the Brewers, or his beloved Packers (he’s a shareholder). As an amateur historian, Attorney Duncan loves books on history and biography and leads a civil war roundtable. Duncan has become a well-known Social Security and workers' compensation attorney. In 2011, and more recently in 2016, he was a speaker at the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR) convention, and also in 2017 at the National Association of Disability Representatives conference, speaking as an expert in his field. With over 25 years of experience, Wayne started out representing insurance companies as defense counsel. The insight he gained enabled him to advocate effectively on behalf of the injured parties with valid claims against insurance companies, other companies or individuals. Since 1993 he has represented "plaintiffs only" in personal injury, workers' compensation, disability, and wrongful termination/discrimination/retaliation cases. Attorney Bilsky graduated from the University of Florida with a BS/BA in Finance in 1986. He graduated from Law School at the University of Florida in 1989. While in session in Law School, Mr. Bilsky interned for a plaintiff's firm, specializing in Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation cases. Each summer break during law school, Mr. Bilsky worked in Orlando at different law firms, specializing in Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury.

For over 25 years, Stephen Matarazzo has helped workers pursue redress of grievances and bring workers compensation cases to a successful closure in New Jersey. He’s been an ally of working people for a quarter of a century. Stephen became an attorney to make a difference in client’s lives. He explains, “I practice workers’ compensation law because those who produce for all the country all too often get the short end of the stick. With my help, they can get their due when they are injured at work.” Mr. Matarazzo graduated from Widener University Law School in Wilmington, Delaware, in 1995, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellent Achievement in Torts I. Stephen R. Miller leads Pond Lehocky Giordano’s Pittsburgh office. Since his admission to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2000, Mr. Miller has dedicated his practice to workers’ compensation law and has litigated countless cases throughout central and western Pennsylvania. Mr. Miller spent the first 15 years of his legal career as a workers’ compensation defense litigator, representing employers and insurance companies at a large regional firm where he quickly advanced to partner. These many years of defense practice and corporate consultation provided Mr. Miller with extensive knowledge of Pennsylvania workers’ compensation law and how the insurance industry manages claims. In 2016, Mr. Miller concluded that he wanted to advocate for injured workers and left his long-time position to open Pond Lehocky’s Pittsburgh office. Since then, he has exclusively represented claimants. Mr. Miller speaks regularly on workers’ compensation issues. He has been selected as a Super Lawyers® Rising Star and Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® on multiple occasions and was named to the Best Lawyers in America® 2018 and 2019 lists.

Christopher C. Cara joined Pond Lehocky in September of 2012. Chris attended Middlebury College in Vermont where he made the Dean’s List and graduated with a B.A. in English and with Honors in Environmental Studies. He received his J.D. from Villanova University in 2012. Following his undergraduate graduation, Chris worked at Isles in Trenton, NJ, a nonprofit community development organization. During his time at Villanova, Chris was a three-year recipient of the Deirdre L. Bailey Leadership Scholarship, member of the Pro Bono Society, and treasurer of the Environmental and Energy Law Society. Additionally, Chris worked as a law clerk for the following organizations: Exelon Corporation, the Environmental Protection Agency Office of Regional Counsel for Region 3 in Philadelphia, and the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office in Trenton, NJ. During law school, Chris interned with the Honorable Judge Linda Carpenter in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Chris’s interest in Workers’ Compensation law sprung from his enrollment in a Workers’ Compensation course at Villanova taught by Workers’ Compensation Judge Todd Seelig, Mr. Cara earned one of the highest grades in the class. Chris now devotes his practice to representing injured workers.

Steven E. Goldberg followed his father into a career of law by joining the Steinberg Law Firm in 1993. As he explains, “Growing up, I was impressed to see my father working hard and his clients being truly thankful for that hard work.” Now in practice for more than 25 years, Steven has represented clients in cases involving on-the-job injuries and automobile wrecks, and has expanded his practice representing families of those who have had loved ones injured or killed in nursing home neglect. He has been successful in many trial appearances and settlements totaling over several million dollars; most recently, he represented a family whose elderly father died because of a truck driver’s negligence in a case that settled for $3.5 million. The father was rear-ended, and Steven fought the insurance company over the settlement amount when the company tried to use the fact that the driver was 75 years old to say his family shouldn’t receive such a large settlement. Steven maintains his office in Summerville, and practices law at both the firm’s Broad Street and Goose Creek locations. He is active in the legal community, having served as president of the South Carolina Injured Workers’ Advocates and chairperson of the South Carolina Bar Workers’ Compensation Section. He has served on the board of Governors for the Association for Justice (Trial Lawyers), and has argued Workers’ Compensation cases before the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the South Carolina Supreme Court. He also shares his experience and knowledge regarding workers’ compensation issues with colleagues and the business community members at various seminars. Active in his community, Steven is a member of KKBE and has served as president of the East Cooper Jewish Community; chair of Operation Home, an organization devoted to making homes safer for lower-income residents; and chair of the Grantmaking and Leadership Committee of the Coastal Community Foundation. Steven earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Nicholas T. Kocian is the president and founder of the Kocian Law Group. Nick has practiced law for over thirty years focusing on personal injury matters, including but not limited to medical malpractice, motor vehicle, products liability, construction, premises liability and workers’ compensation claims. He has handled cases at all stages of litigation and trial, including civil jury trials, court/bench trials, formal hearings before the Workers’ Compensation Commission, and hearings at the CRB appellate level. Nick has also appeared before the Connecticut Supreme Court. Prior to establishing the Kocian Law Group, Nick was associated with a prominent New York Wall Street firm where he defended physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice claims throughout New York. In this position, Nick worked with leading trial lawyers, becoming skilled in litigating and preparing cases and gaining an extensive understanding of how insurance carriers defend medical malpractice claims. Nick initially opened his own solo attorney practice in Hartford, Connecticut.
