Originally from Chicago, Principal Attorney Debby decided to call San Diego, California home after receiving her MBA from Loyola University in Chicago. During her last year in law school she externed at the Court of Appeal, 4th Appellate District, Division One and was a Senior Staff Advisor for the Law Review. After working with mentors in Estate Planning, Debby decided this was the perfect area for her to assist clients with something that most see as an overwhelming task. She makes planning for the future a straightforward, simple and enjoyable experience. In her free time Debby enjoys spending time with her family and friends, her Maine Coon Cat Ace, swimming, tennis and horseback riding. Always an insatiable reader, she is usually devouring everything that grabs her interest.

Jennie LaRossa graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a B.A. in psychology and obtained her Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law. Jennie is known for her compassion, success, and for being a strong advocate for her family law clients. She is also an experience mediator and minor’s counsel. Jennie takes great pride in assisting her clients through the legal process and is able to settle most of her cases our of court. This helps families by avoiding unnecessary litigation, expense, and emotional trauma — especially when children are involved. Mrs. LaRossa is a member of the State Bar of California, Long Beach Bar Association, and is a past president of the Long Beach Barristers Association. Mrs. LaRossa is also a past member of the Joseph A. Ball / Clarence S. Hunt Inns of Court and attended the American Inns of Court Celebration of Excellence Awards Banquet at the United States Supreme Court.

I grew up in Napa, California and retain strong family ties there. I raised my family in Southern California and as a result I am now a Southern California Transplant. I graduated from Occidental College in 1993 with a degree in Politics and gained sales and management experience for four years prior to enrolling in Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 1997. I earned my Juris Doctorate from Loyola in 2001 and graduated in the top 10% of my division. I have been a civil litigator my entire career, conducting over 2000 bench trials and more than 350 of these in probate court alone. I have been victorious in well over 95% of these trials, recovering hundreds of millions of dollars for my clients. As I move to my mid 50’s, my children are pretty much all grown, my life is stable, and I am focused on providing excellent, high quality, and focused attention to individualized cases where I believe I can truly make a difference. I want to get to know my clients and I want them to get to know me.

I was born in San Rafael where I have lived all my life except when I was away at school. I graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law and upon graduating worked in the area of family law. Prior to law school, I attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, where I received a degree in Law and Society. I began working with Peter Pelavin in 1996. My practice emphasizes estate planning, estate administration, and related areas of law. I am an active volunteer for my local school district and take great joy and pride in being a native and resident of Marin County.
