Social Security

My practice is limited exclusively to the representation of Social Security claimants and people who have suffered injuries due to the actions or fault of others. I have handled Social Security claims since 1994 and began practicing Social Security law exclusively in 2003. I do not dabble in family law, criminal law, real estate, etc. I know many people who handle other areas of law, and can certainly point you in the right direction if the need arises, but if you are having problems getting your Social Security benefits, been injured by another person's actions, or just have questions, give me a call. My practice is based in Houston, TX and I have represented over 1500 Social Security claimants throughout Metro Houston, the Gulf Coast of Texas, East Texas and the Brazos Valley. My goal is to make sure that qualified applicants receive the benefits to which they are entitled, and my entire practice is dedicated to making this happen. I take a very hands-on approach with all clients. I handle all initial client interviews, speak with you directly through all phases of the claims process, handle any appeals which may be necessary, and personally prepare you for and represent you at your hearing if one is needed. I am available to answer your questions at any stage of the claims process, even if you have not yet filed a claim.

Steven concentrates his efforts on Social Security disability law to assist those most in need. He helps his clients maneuver through the complicated landscape of Medicaid and Medicare and makes sure they have the proper access, knowledge and resources for obtaining the medical treatment they need. Plus, he has a successful record of ensuring his clients receive the benefits and awards they deserve. Because Steven believes that the disabled are the group of Americans who have the least political say, he strives to be their voice – even beyond their legal cases. He does this by actively serving on the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives, which plays a large role in shaping the policies of the Social Security Administration.

Eric started Jones Law Group in 2007 right after he graduated from law school. He has extensive legal experience with Social Security Disability and the healthcare industry. Eric also served as Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney for 12 consecutive years. Prior to attending law school Eric served as Vice President ofr an Ohio hospital where he was responsible for physician contracting, recruitment and relations. During law school Eric was the Assistant Chief of the Bureau of Managed Care for O.D.J.F.S. where his responsibilities included designing, implementing, and regulating the statewide expansion of Medicaid Managed Care. Eric also served as legal assistant to the General Counsel of the Ohio State Medical Association. Currently, Eric devotes much of his practice Social Security disability, civil litigation and representing health care providers. Eric is a recipient of the Capital University Law School G.O.L.D. award. The G.O.L.D Award is given annually to a Capital University Law School JD “Graduate of the Last Decade” who has made significant achievements as an attorney and has made notable contributions to the legal profession and/or the Law School. Eric has proudly to served as a Board Member of the OhioHealth Foundation and as a member of the Community Board of COSI. Eric earned his bachelor degree from Ohio University (B.S., 1995) and continued his higher education by receiving both his Master of Business Administration and his law degree from Capital University.

Ken is one of the founding Partners and is responsible for both the management of the firm and is the head of the Workers’ Compensation practice. He is a member of the Workers’ Injury Law Group, W.I.L.G., which is a national organization dedicated to protecting the rights of injured persons throughout the country. Ken has represented both injured workers and employers at all levels of the administrative process, including dealing with the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) as well as appearing before the Industrial Commission of Ohio (IC) since 1995. He has also been involved in litigation before the Common Pleas Courts throughout Ohio and has been involved in Mandamus Actions before the Court of Appeals and the Ohio Supreme Court. Ken is a graduate of Wittenberg University (Summa Cum Laude, 1991) and a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Law (1994). He has also taught a Business Law Class as an Adjunct Professor at Wittenberg University during 2010 and 2011 and has participated in the evaluation of Senior Business Majors final projects on several occasions at his alma mater.

Richard Neuworth has been handling personal injury and employment and employee benefit litigation for 35 years. He has extensive experience in employee benefit, discrimination, harassment, personal injury, workers compensation and Social Security disability cases, successfully representing individuals and groups of employees in significant employment disputes. An “AV Preeminent-Rated” attorney, he is listed in “Best Lawyers in America” in Labor and Employment Law in 2010. He is listed in “Super Lawyers,” as well, in Employee Benefits. A graduate of the George Washington University and the University of Baltimore Law School, Richard is general counsel to employee organizations and associations. He presented on both the Maryland False Claims Act and federal False Claims Act in April 2015 for Employment Law Institute. Richard has lectured on disability benefits and employment issues to diverse groups such as the National MS Society, Alzheimer’s Association, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Lupus Foundation. He has also lectured on the subject of Social Security disability and Maryland Workers Compensation law to those groups, the National Business Institute and the Maryland State Bar Association in September 2010. He has been an adjunct lecturer on both employment law and Social Security disability as part of the Elder Law course at the University of Maryland Law School from 2005 to the present. Richard’s publications include course materials sponsored by the Maryland Institute of Continuing Professional Legal Education for Lawyers (MICPEL) on the subjects of Employment Law and Social Security Disability. His materials on ERISA and Medicare liens were also part of programs sponsored by the Maryland Association of Justice. He has published articles in the Maryland State Bar Association, “Trial Magazine” and the “Trial Reporter’ of the Maryland Association of Justice on topics that include the Medicare Secondary Payer Act and the Private Cause of Action, Employee Termination under the False Claims Act, ERISA Liens and Personal Injury Actions, Medicare, Medicare Secondary Payer Act and Private Cause of Actions, Sexual Harassment, ERISA and Personal Injury Actions.

Adam joined Fitzpatrick & Associates in 2017. He concentrates his practice in Worker’s Compensation, Social Security Disability, Personal Injury, Employment law, and Automobile accidents. Adam attended New England School of Law │ Boston, and received his Juris Doctor Magna Cum Laude in 2016 . While in Law School Adam was on the Dean’s list all semesters, received the New England Scholar Award from 2013-2015, was awarded the Trustee’s Academic Scholarship from 2014-2016. Adam served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge Raymond Brassard in Superior Court and he served as a student Attorney for the New England Law│Boston Clinical law Office representing clients in Social Security Disability, Family Law, and Elder Planning. James V Hill, attorney at Russell & Hill, PLLC, is a lifelong Washingtonian and has spent time calling both sides of the Cascades “home.” Jim has devoted his law practice to helping people obtain the benefits and compensation they deserve, both in personal injury cases as well as social security disability claims. After graduating with academic honors from Seattle University School of Law, Jim went to work at a law firm that provided legal defense for multiple insurance companies.
