S. W. Dawson, Esq., is the founder and managing member of Dawson, P.L.C. Mr. Dawson specializes in bespoke litigation strategies, particularly in the realm of state and federal criminal defense. Mr. Dawson regularly represents clients throughout the entire Commonwealth of Virginia, but maintains his most active presence in the Hampton Roads and Northern Neck regions of Virginia. Over the course of his career, Mr. Dawson has successfully defended countless Virginians and visitors who have faced serious felony or misdemeanor charges in either state or federal court. He has successfully defended clients facing the most serious allegations imaginable, to include: homicide, money laundering, fraud, narcotics violations, rape, driving under the influence (DUI/DWI) and more. Mr. Dawson has also represented clients all over the United States in asset forfeiture cases (which are matters in which the Government attempts to seize and keep a citizen's property). Active in his professional community, Mr. Dawson is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Northern Neck Bar Association, and he has lectured on legal topics for several organizations. He sits on the board of directors of Norfolk Festevents, Ltd., and GraceInside, a prison ministry founded in 1920. In recognition of his accomplishments, Mr. Dawson has been recognized for many years in peer-to-peer review publications such as Virginia Super Lawyer Magazine, Virginia Business Magazine, and Coastal Virginia Magazine, among others. Eric Richardson is the owner of ER Law, a boutique litigation firm that he started in 2018 to give North Carolina citizens greater access to the justice system. Since 2018 the firm has grown to add two associate attorneys and establish a prominent presence in Guilford and Rockingham Counties. Eric practices primarily Family Law and Personal Injury Law, and the firm also handles all level of Criminal Law matters. Since graduating from law school, Eric built his trial practice by handling a wide variety of cases before North Carolina District and Superior Courts, Federal District and Bankruptcy Courts, as well as the North Carolina Industrial Commission. Although Eric has represented a number of business interests and other entities during his legal career, he now focuses his practice on representing people who need assistance in maneuvering through the maze of civil litigation. Born in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Eric graduated from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and government. He worked for two years as a Federal Budget Analyst in Bethesda, Maryland before attending law school. Eric graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1996 where he was a member of the Editorial Board of the Wake Forest Law Review. Eric is a member of the NC Bar Association, the NC Advocates for Justice, the American Association for Justice, and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates’ Forum. He is currently a Board Member for NC BarCares, serves on the Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity Committee for the NC Bar Association, and is a Co-Regional Coordinator for the NC Mock Trial Program. Eric is a former President of the Greensboro Bar Association, and he has served on the NC Bar Association’s Medico-Legal Committee, the NC Bar Association’s Family Law Section Committee, the NC Bar Association’s Insurance Law Committee, and as President of the Guilford County Family Law Section. He has also served as CLE co-chair for the Auto Torts section of the NC Advocates for Justice He is a published author and contributes a significant amount of his time to community service, including past service as the General Chairman for the 2009 Wyndham Championship PGA tour event and 8 years coaching the East Forsyth High School trial team in the NC Mock Trial Competition. Eric has also been recognized in multiple years by the Greensboro Bar Association as a member of the Herb Falk Society. Eric is certified to practice in the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of North Carolina’s Federal Courts as well as the United States Supreme Court.

Jason McLaurin is a founding member of McLaurin Law. He has over a decade of experience representing clients at trial, arbitration, and mediation in matters concerning insurance policyholder recovery disputes, complex commercial litigation, and catastrophic personal injury claims. Charlie Henke is the founding partner of Henke Law Firm, LLP, the predecessor to Henke, Williams & Boll, LLP. The firm was founded in 1992. Daniel was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas, and he holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Seton Hall University and a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in International Business, from the University of Texas at El Paso. Daniel holds a double certification in Healthcare Compliance and as a Compliance and Ethics Professional. Daniel manages the Law Office of Daniel R. Crumby, LLC, where he focuses on complex litigation and business law including white-collar defense; defense of corporate, and individual clients in state and federal courts around the country; medical malpractice; nursing home and elder abuse; healthcare compliance and investigations; personal injury, and criminal law. Prior to starting his practice, Daniel worked at a mid-sized law firm in Atlanta, and he specialized in criminal and civil healthcare-related white-collar cases, medical malpractice, healthcare compliance, internal investigations, and defending insurance companies and their insurers in complex cases, including lawsuits filed against skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities. The Army twice awarded Daniel the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medals, Army Achievement Medals, and the Fort Bliss Ambassador Award, among others, for his military service. Daniel is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, State Bar of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Georgia and the Western District of Texas.

After graduating from the University of North Carolina Law School with honors, Joel spent two years as a law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit – one year as a staff attorney and one year as a clerk to the Honorable William B. Traxler, Jr. Joel has since spent his entire career helping clients who faced civil litigation in a wide range of practice areas. During that time, Joel has helped a broad spectrum of clients - from individuals to companies in the manufacturing, communications, healthcare, and financial services industries, just to name a few. In addition to his experience in the trial courts, Joel has helped numerous clients in the appellate courts.
