Jo Stone is a Colorado native, whose grandparents were homesteaders in eastern Colorado. Jo has both her bachelors and masters degrees in English literature as well as her law degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO. Jo's practice focuses on estate and business planning, although she also has an extensive background in litigation of all kinds, including commercial, business, and personal matters. Her diverse background and experience allows her to approach all legal matters in a very circumspect and comprehensive manner that is somewhat unique in relation to the narrowly-focused niche firms prevalent today. Jo’s diversity also allows her to develop long lasting relationships with a wide variety of clients who may need different legal assistance through the years. In addition to practicing law, Jo is on the faculty of the Graduate School of Business at the University of Phoenix and has taught at a variety of other colleges and universities throughout her career in the areas of business and arts and sciences. Jo is an active member of the Rotary Club of Parker and has served as the President, Director of International projects, Director of Club Service, as well as holding various posts in Rotary District 5450. She is an active advocate of Rotary’s program to eradicate Polio worldwide. Outside of the office, Jo and her husband, Jim, enjoy spending lots of time with their large family, as well as writing, music and travel.

As an attorney, my primary goal is for you to understand the legal process. Whether your legal issues involve family law, a criminal matter, taxes, or any other legal issue that you may be facing, it is, in my opinion, paramount that you understand the legal process in which you find yourself. Legal proceedings can be very stressful and almost all are unique. By understanding the process you can then make decisions on how you would like to proceed. The role of an attorney is to help you make your decisions and then implement them. There are a multitude of methods to address your legal issue - from court hearings to mediation and settlement. There are also multiple methods to pay for legal services from unbundled, hourly, self-help or a combination of methods.

At the Kiske Law Office, LLC, I am responsible for child custody cases, child abuse cases, divorces, paternities, guardianships, and traffic matters, and simple estate planning. I developed the Mobile Lawyer Services to more effectively meet the needs of our aging and disabled clients. I truly enjoy helping clients resolve their parenting and other legal issues. I am grateful for the opportunity to counsel clients on issues related to their family, children and loved ones.

My focus is family law, and my approach is focused on helping clients navigate the complex and emotional experience of family law issues including divorce, determining parenting time, child custody and support, dividing property, and deciding alimony. My goal is always the best possible outcome given my client’s objectives. I also seek to minimize the negative emotional and economic impact of the divorce process on children within the family system. (Studies have shown that children in high conflict divorces do not do as well later in life, as the children in low conflict divorces.) While I am a fierce advocate for my clients, I never deliberately fan the flames of conflict and anger that may hinder the process of resolving the case or that eventually have a harmful effect on the children. I guide my clients through every step of the divorce process, from filing the initial petition, preparing for and attending mediation, participating in settlement conferences, and if necessary, preparing and appearing for trial. While most of my cases settle out of court, I have the experience to manage your case through a full-blown divorce trial. My trial experience in divorce, includes the establishment of child custody and parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance/alimony, and the division of marital property. I have also litigated modification of child custody and parenting time for marital and non-marital children, modification of child support, enforcement of orders for spousal maintenance and child support, third party and grandparent custody and visitation, orders for protection, and harassment restraining orders. Prior to becoming an attorney, I owned a small business, and I draw on that experience to negotiate fair and equitable property settlements, parenting plans, and even prenuptial agreements that help protect the rights and assets of soon to become newlyweds.

I represent personal injury cases throughout the Wasatch Front. If you have been in an accident and suffered a debilitating injury, or your insurance company is giving you the run around, I will actively seek the compensation needed to make you whole under the laws and through aggressive mediation. I defend victims of personal injury, I defend DUI, criminal and all civil matters. I am a litigation attorney with 30 years of practice. I assist with immigration, VISA and INS matters. My general practice includes llc and business formation, contracts, estate planning, and general legal counsel. In multiple cases before the Supreme Court I have successful wins.

Attorney Keith S. Morse has more than 45 years of experience representing clients in a diverse range of practice areas. Drawing on his various experiences, today he concentrates his practice on helping clients involved in complex divorce and family law matters. His background includes experience as a Special Assistant Attorney General for Illinois, handling complex child/spousal support issues and paternity claims, as well as extensive experience working with situations where substance abuse has been a factor in family problems. Determining child custody and parenting time, dividing marital property fairly, and negotiating child support or spousal support obligations can become highly complex, and the decisions made in a divorce proceeding can have a lasting impact on the future of both spouses.

Marissa’s main areas of concentration are family law matters such as Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support, Paternity, Visitation and Adoption. Marissa is also a court approved family Mediator and Guardian ad Litem in Kane and Dekalb County. In addition, Marissa is one of the few Kane County foreclosure mediators for the sixteenth judicial circuit. Marissa is an active member of the Kane County Bar Association, DeKalb County Bar Association, Du Page County Bar Association and Illinois State Bar Association. In addition, Marissa is a member of the Kane County Family Law Committee.

Bill Pemerton earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University in 2000 and was awarded his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama in 2005. Upon graduation from Cumberland, he was honored with a Certificate of Trial Advocacy and has since maintained a substantial litigation practice in both Tennessee and Alabama. His practice includes personal injury, family law, and general litigation. He was recently listed as a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 general civil and family mediator.
