Attorney Lucas grew up in the small town of Great Falls in upstate South Carolina. Following high school, he attended Coastal Carolina University (CCU) in Conway, South Carolina and graduated in 2010 with a bachelor of arts in Political Science and a minor in pre-law. Following graduation from CCU, he accepted a position at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Shortly thereafter, he was accepted into and began the study of law at the Charleston School of Law, all in an effort to pursue his life-long dream—to practice law in South Carolina. ​ After passing the 2014 South Carolina Bar Exam and moving back to Myrtle Beach, Attorney Lucas had the pleasure of working for several very successful law firms in Horry County. In his time with those firms, he worked cases in many areas of criminal defense, family law, and personal injury law. Specifically, he has defended countless persons accused of all types of crimes during which he tried—and won—their criminal cases; he has handled all types of cases in Family Court; he has negotiated with insurance adjusters and drafted insurance demand packets (some amounting in the millions of dollars) in many personal injury matters. Mark S. It has always been my dream to be an attorney and help families. Graduating in the top ten of my high school class, I studied my first two years at Quinebaug Valley Community College. Then I earned a Bachelors degree from Eastern Connecticut State University with a dual major in Psychology and Political Science. After spending a few years in the real world, I attended Roger Williams School of Law in Bristol Rhode Island. In my first year of law school, I married my “hometown-hunnie” Josh, who was incredibly supportive of my dreams, and crazy study schedule. My law school internships included the Department of Labor and Training Legal Department, the Rhode Island Mediation Department, a small Connecticut law firm, and a Providence firm focusing on Wills. I also spent two years on the Moot Court, served on the Executive Moot Court Board, scored highly in a competition in New Orleans. I am a successful mediator, licensed attorney in Connecticut and Rhode Island, and member of the Windham Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association and Rhode Island Bar Association. Now it is time to take all that I have learned over the last decade and hang my own shingle. While focusing on estate planning, wills, probate, divorces, and family modifications, it is my goal to grow to a firm that can help you with all the needs of your family.

Admitted to the Connecticut and New York bars, attorney Jeffrey L. Ment has 26 years of experience helping injured clients, defending and representing police officers with virtually every legal issue that an officer may encounter, representing travel companies and hospitality groups, representing and defending insurers, companies and manufacturers of equipment in personal injury and civil litigation. He has tried more than 34 cases to verdict, and many more proceedings that were resolved in arbitration and/or mediation. He is a Graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law and earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Economics from Rutgers University. He served as a criminal law clerk for the Honorable Patrick J. Roma, J.S.C. for the 2012-2013 judicial term and earned an LL.M. in Dispute Resolution from the prestigious Pepperdine University School of Law, Straus Institute. Lia received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in Psychology, from San Diego State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Knowing she wanted to practice Family Law, Lia went on to receive her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, with a concentration in Child, Family, and Elder Law and graduated Cum Laude. During law school, along with maintaining her grades, and playing Semi-Professional basketball, Lia completed various family law internships at the Family Law Facilitator’s Office, YWCA of San Diego, and the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program. Lia also worked for several local Certified Family Law Specialists at prestigious San Diego County law firms, as well as for the Family Law Judges and Commissioners in the North County Court. Lia has experience handling various family law issues, including dissolution of marriage, child custody and visitation, move-away requests, child support, spousal support, property, and asset division, and domestic violence restraining orders. He also runs the El Paso County Coliseum, drawing acts from around the United States and Mexico.
