Matthew is a proud native-born Tennessean and the third generation to live on my family’s farm. His roots trace back to his ancestor and the first governor of the state of Tennessee, John Sevier. While at the University of Tennessee College of Law, Matthew concentrated his studies on advocacy and dispute resolution. Prior to law school, he worked as an agent with Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee. John K. Carter has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, which includes working for a law firm (Skadden Arps), a federal regulator (SEC), and leading companies (Franklin Templeton, Citigroup, and Transamerica). With this wealth of experience, John helps clients, big or small, to resolve their legal issues. John provides consulting to companies on a host of issues, including acquisitions, outsourcing, vendor selection, systems integration, governance issues, industry trends, and product development. John also serves as an independent director of a growing mutual fund complex. Previously, John served as Chairman, President, and CEO of a $50 billion asset management company consisting of approximately 120 funds and 35 investment sub-advisers. John served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer prior to being promoted to the helm of the asset management company. John graduated with a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce of the University of Virginia, where he concentrated in Finance. He received a law degree from the University Of Virginia School Of Law, where he was a member of the Managing Board of the Virginia Tax Review. He is currently a member of the Florida Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, and the Virginia State Bar. John currently is obtaining a Master of Theology from Saint Leo University, Dade City, Florida.

Paul J. Dillon is the managing partner of the firm. Since 1992, Mr. Dillon maintains specialties in the fields of business law, real estate law, personal injury, employment, and criminal matters. Mr. Dillon combines his outstanding academic and legal credentials with the business and accounting experience he obtained while working for a national accounting and consulting firm, to identify and explain to clients, adversaries, and juries the financial impact of various legal issues and disputes. After spending nearly five years with the consulting practice of Arthur Anderson & Co., Mr. Dillon earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Detroit School of Law in 1992. During law school, Mr. Dillon was awarded clerkship at the Wayne County Circuit Court, the United States Attorney General's Office, and Pepper Hamilton LLP, a nationally recognized law firm. Mr. Dillon received his bachelor of arts in 1984 from Kalamazoo College, where he captained the Division III football team for two years, while also being active in intercollegiate baseball and wrestling. Mr. Dillon also studied in Hannover, Germany for a semester of his undergraduate experience. He has been honored to have been designated as a Michigan Super Lawyer and continues to strive to the highest of standards for the practice of law. Paul is married to JoDee, his wife of twenty-nine years. The Dillon’s have five children and live in Plymouth where both Paul and JoDee attended Salem High School. Paul enjoys watching his children participate in a variety of sports.

Marc L. Shea graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, in 1979. He was formerly associated with Law Offices of Lester G. Sachs, where he practiced general civil law, with an emphasis in mechanics lien law (1979-1982) and then as a partner with Popelka, Allard, McCowan & Jones (“PAMJ”) and Popelka, Allard, McCowan & Bondonno (“PAMB”) (1982 to 2006). My name is Tej Singh - I am the founder of Tej Law Firm, PLLC in Texas and Tej Law Firm, PC in California. I started this firm in December 2020 with one goal: to help real people with real problems. I am a proud Aggie and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in Business Administration. I graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law with Honors in 2016. I am fully licensed and serve clients in both Texas and California and have thus am able to represent clients in both states. In my career thus far, I am fortunate to have already worked in diverse legal environments, spanning from firms of varying sizes to varying legal subspecialities. In law school, I clerked for various firms, specializing in employment law, personal injury, and intellectual property. I am fortunate to have a diverse spectrum of prior experiences that I now apply at my firm. Once I was granted admission to the California State Bar, I initially practiced with the largest Workers’ Compensation Defense Firm in California (Los Angeles). For two years, I protected and limited exposure to employers dealing with injured workers. I built relationships with Workers’ Compensation Insurance Companies and the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Court Judges and learned the Workers’ Compensation system from the perspective of the Defense. After passing the California Bar Exam, I decided to challenge myself to also pass the Texas Bar Exam so that I could serve as legal counsel in Texas for my family. After I was granted admission to the Texas State Bar, I moved to Texas and practiced as a defense attorney in areas of employment law, Texas Dram Shop Law, personal injury, medical malpractice, and Texas windstorm insurance. Before starting my own firm, I worked at a plaintiff’s firm focusing on wage and hour disputes as well as medical malpractice claims. My main practice area is Employment law including wage and hour claims and California Workers' Compensation claims. In California, I represent clients that have been injured at work with their Workers’ Compensation claims. I know how the Defense thinks, and I know what to anticipate in their legal strategies. I work closely with my clients, as part of a team, to ensure that my clients’ rights are protected after an injury or ailment developed in the workplace.
