Mr. Capetillo was born, raised, and still resides in Fort Bend County, Texas. He graduated from B.F. Terry High School as a fighting Terry Ranger Baseball Player. He continued his education and earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston while working part-time in Houston’s Oil & Gas industry in various tax related roles. After graduation, he accepted an offer from the world’s largest publicly traded international oil and gas company and worked in their tax department while attending night classes at South Texas College of Law. In his last semester at STCL, Mr. Capetillo secured an internship at the Harris County Public Defender’s Office in downtown Houston. His experience with the Public Defender’s office allowed him to gain hands-on experience defending individuals who had been accused of crimes while learning the importance of zealous legal representation through the criminal legal process.

Robert R. Jones, III earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2011. He graduated in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in English and creative writing from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire and in 1994 with a masters degree in English from the University of Houston. During his years of practice, Robert has represented private individuals, small businesses and corporations. His current areas of practice include criminal law, probate law, civil litigation, and family law. While in law school, Robert was a member of the Black Law Students Association mock trial team and participated every summer in the Gerald Treece Summer Mock Trial Academy as an advocate. Robert is a Houston native, a former college English instructor, and a dedicated community servant. Robert currently serves on the Executive Board of the Black Alumni of Dartmouth Association. Robert serves as class representative and class agent for the St. John’s School Class of 1985. Upon graduation from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University in New York, classmates Evan N. Pickus and Howard S. Landsberg sought to fulfill a vision- the formation of their own law firm. Originally intending to concentrate in the areas of tax and estates, Mr. Pickus opened his office in East Brunswick, New Jersey, and Mr. Landsberg opened his office in Long Island, New York, with the intention of working together to serve the needs of residents of the respective areas. Having a prior background in accounting, Mr. Landsberg felt after a period of time that his aspirations could be better fulfilled in the area of taxation and advisory accountancy. He, therefore, left the practice and went on to a very successful career in those areas. With his practice already established in New Jersey, Mr. Pickus decided to maintain the firm and has continued practicing under the Pickus & Landsberg name since 1994. Chix Miller, rated “AV” in Martindale Hubbell Law Directory (the highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards) for the most recent seventeen (17) consecutive years, is a partner at Sell & Melton LLP and has represented numerous governmental entities as Bond counsel and Issuer’s counsel over the past thirty-seven (37) years. Mr. Miller has closed as Bond counsel over two-hundred sixty-five (265) bond issues in fifteen (15) states – Alabama, California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and West Virginia. Gregory C. Larson has been in the practice of law in Bismarck, North Dakota for 37 years, and is a partner of the Larson Latham Huettl Law Firm. Vinny Iyer has always had a desire to learn a variety of different subjects, and has always had a passion for justice; both of these traits led him to the practice of law. Vinny went to Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska where he received his Bachelor of Arts. While at Creighton, Vinny majored in music performance and theory, co-majored in political science, and completed the pre-medical program. After Creighton, Vinny attended the University of Nebraska – Omaha to study music composition where he learned counterpoint, orchestration, and advanced music theory. During this time, Vinny also played with his band while teaching music theory and guitar lessons. Eventually, Vinny’s passion lead him to the University of Nebraska – Lincoln College of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate. Additionally, Vinny completed the litigation skills program of concentrated study with a criminal emphasis. While enrolled in law school, Vinny Iyer served as a clerk with Atwood, Holsten, Brown, Deaver and Spier Law Firm. In this role, he primarily handled personal injury and workers’ compensation cases, which would later become his focus at Falgien Warr & Iyer, P.C. Upon graduating from law school, he worked as a senior analyst contract attorney, auditing foreclosure and mortgage procedures for a multinational bank. He then represented clients through his own contract defense firm and at Clear Creek Consulting, wherein he helped individuals and businesses resolve tax liabilities with Federal and State taxing authorities. Subsequently, Vinny was hired as an attorney at The Law Offices of Dianne Sawaya, LLC where he focused on personal injury cases.
