Robert R. Jones, III earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2011. He graduated in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in English and creative writing from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire and in 1994 with a masters degree in English from the University of Houston. During his years of practice, Robert has represented private individuals, small businesses and corporations. His current areas of practice include criminal law, probate law, civil litigation, and family law. Mr. Capetillo was born, raised, and still resides in Fort Bend County, Texas. He graduated from B.F. Terry High School as a fighting Terry Ranger Baseball Player. He continued his education and earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston while working part-time in Houston’s Oil & Gas industry in various tax related roles. After graduation, he accepted an offer from the world’s largest publicly traded international oil and gas company and worked in their tax department while attending night classes at South Texas College of Law. In his last semester at STCL, Mr. Capetillo secured an internship at the Harris County Public Defender’s Office in downtown Houston. His experience with the Public Defender’s office allowed him to gain hands-on experience defending individuals who had been accused of crimes while learning the importance of zealous legal representation through the criminal legal process.

Farooq A. Esani spent his early years in Karachi, Pakistan. He moved to U.S. in 1986 as a student to attend the University of Houston. Being an immigrant himself, he is passionate about immigration issues and understands the harsh realities of settling and assimilating into a new culture. Mr. Esani did his undergraduate work in the field of Business Administration and earned his Master’s in Accounting and Taxation. As a Certified Public Accountant, he held various financial and tax positions with American General Corporation and Arthur Andersen, LLP. Mr. Esani received his law degree in 1999, graduating Cum Laude. Mr. Esani is authorized to practice law before the Supreme Court of Texas and all Immigration Courts. Mr. Esani served as an Immigration Associate for the prestigious firm of Thompson & Knight, LP until 2000, when he entered the private practice of law. Guy Neil Goodson graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1973, and then attended law school at Southern Methodist University, graduating in 1976. Guy began his legal career at the law firm of Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff & Miller in Fort Worth, Texas specializing in tax practice, and moved to Beaumont in 1978 as regulatory counsel for Gulf States Utilities Co. Guy is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Texas, Texas courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Guy is active in the legal community having been President of the Jefferson County Bar Association in 1991-1992, and President of the Young Lawyers Association in 1984. He represented Ward II on the Beaumont City Council from 1990 – 2003, and served as Mayor for the City of Beaumont, Texas, 2005 – 2007. Guy is also active in state municipal affairs and served as President of the Texas Municipal League in 2001 – 2002. Guy is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Bar Foundation, and a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. Guy N. Gary W. Coker, a principal with the firm, is a native of Jasper, Texas. Scott C. Crutchfield is a Principal in GERMER PLLC’s Business section. His practice is primarily concentrated on representing Lenders and Borrowers in connection with HUD-Insured Loan transactions for the construction, refinancing and acquisition of Multifamily and Healthcare facilities under HUD’s various mortgage insurance programs, as well as property acquisitions and assumption of HUD-insured loans (“TPA’s”). Scott’s work in this area includes successful closings of numerous affordable transactions that combine HUD-insured financing, Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, Tax-Exempt Bonds and various types of local, state and federal subordinate loan elements.
