Questions & Answers

How did you build a successful practice?

My partner, Jennifer Chamberlain, and I worked at a large firm in Milwaukee. While the firm had unlimited resources, it lacked the personal touch. Jennifer and I decided to go out on our own to provide the clients exceptional legal services with detailed attention and a hands on approach.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

Someone who is honest, friendly, easy to talk to, makes them feel comfortable, hardworking, and has good communication.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Very important. I praise myself on being a member of the community and understanding the needs of those in Northeastern Wisconsin.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

A detailed bankruptcy intake can be conducted over the phone in a brief 20-40 phone consultation.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

Their income, assets, debts, if they're married/have children, etc.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Helping people, giving them a fresh start, seeing how I can change their life and put them on a path to financial freedom. When a client leaves my office feeling relief knowing they can focus on their family and what is important rather than worrying about a bill collector is also a rewarding aspect.

What are your other interests in addition to law?

Camping, traveling, family time and being outside.
