About Shawn
Shawn Reeves is a litigation attorney practicing in the civil courts, family courts, probate courts, and magistrate courts of the South Carolina lowcountry. Shawn was admitted to practice law in the State of South Carolina in 2004. Prior to joining Harvey & Battey in 2007, Shawn worked for the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office where he handled criminal appeals cases before the South Carolina Supreme Court and the South Carolina Court of Appeals. Shawn is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the Beaufort County Bar Association, and the South Carolina Association for Justice.
Shawn was born in Charleston, South Carolina and grew up in rural Dorchester County. He graduated from the College of Charleston and from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He now lives in Beaufort with his wife, two children, and a very spoiled Labrador retriever. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and exploring the lowcountry with his family.
