About Sol

Sol Lesser was admitted to the Practice of Law in 1976. He served as Deputy Director of Sullivan County Legal Aid Society. In the late 1970's Sol moved to Orange County and served the County as its Executive Assistant District Attorney in the early 1980's.

A graduate of New York Law School, Sol has achieved Not Guilty verdicts for clients involving significant criminal cases, including but not limited to Felony Assaults, Felony Drug Possession, and DWI's, in each of the last four decades.

Sol is admitted in all the Courts of New York State, as well as the Federal District Courts in the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of New York State.

This veteran also practices personal injury, matrimonial and family law.

Sol has served on the Board of Directors of the Orange County Legal Aid Society, as well as Temple Beth Jacob in Newburgh. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, as well as the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.

Sol has appeared as a guest host on the Legal Question starring Barry Silver.

Sol currently resides in Newburgh, with his wife Linda, a local realtor, and their three sons, Dave, Jon and Greg.
