Chloe Goins v. Bill Cosby Practice Area: Sexual Harassment Outcome: Ongoing Description: Sexual battery against television star Bill Cosby. Ms. Goins was drugged and taken advantage of at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles California. Rivera v. Orduna Practice Area: Personal Injury Outcome: $7,250,000 Verdict in favor of Plaintiff Description: Young 2 year old child was hit and killed by a drunk driver. The insurance company failed to tender its policy in a timely manner. Suit was filed and the matter was taken to verdict. Settlement with the insurance carrier was obtained post-verdict. Higgins v. GEICO Practice Area: Personal Injury Outcome: $5,249,000 Verdict for Plaintiff Description: Plaintiff was rear ended by a GEICO insured. GEICO failed to tender its policy to the plaintiff in a timely manner and a verdict was obtained by a jury. Williams v. Loomis Practice Area: Personal Injury Outcome: $2,106,000 - Plaintiff verdict Description: Plaintiff was rear ended by a Wells Fargo (Loomis) bank truck. He sustained neck, back and mild traumatic brain injuries. The case was tried to jury verdict. Scoggin v. Nationwide Practice Area: Personal Injury Outcome: $2,300,000 - Plaintiff verdict Description: Plaintiff was injured as a passenger in a car accident. He sustained back and leg injuries.
