Stephanie Ojeda brings a unique blend of compassionate advocacy and fierce litigation skills to her role as a divorce attorney in Philadelphia. She has guided hundreds of clients through some of the toughest moments in their lives, helping them navigate complex family law matters with a steady hand. “My goal is always to make sure my clients feel supported and safe,” Stephanie shares. “When they are empowered to make informed decisions, we can work together toward a brighter, more stable future.” Stephanie’s approach is rooted in her ability to build a strong rapport with her clients. Her honest and direct communication style allows clients to open up and feel understood, making the legal process easier to manage. She is particularly passionate about giving a voice to those who feel voiceless, especially clients who have been psychologically beaten down by abusive partners. Stephanie doesn’t just provide legal representation; she helps her clients rediscover their self-confidence and see the light at the end of the tunnel. One of Stephanie’s most rewarding cases involved representing a client in a Protection from Abuse (PFA) hearing. In this case, one partner was clearly abusing the legal system to the detriment of her ex and their children. Stephanie’s fierce advocacy helped to expose this misuse of the system, ultimately aiming to bring peace and justice to her client and protect the children involved. “It’s moments like these,” Stephanie says, “when I know my work is making a real difference — not just legally, but in the lives of the families I serve.” By focusing on protecting her clients’ rights and interests, Stephanie offers a sense of balance and stability during tumultuous times. She is proud to have helped individuals who have faced significant power differentials in their relationships, guiding them toward a happier and more secure future. Before joining Petrelli Previtera, Stephanie worked as an assistant district attorney in Philadelphia, where she prepared and conducted more than 40 bench trials that focused on family law, child sexual assault, and protection order violations for cases of abuse. She also sat first chair in felony trials in the Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit. Her passion for family law began as a Certified Domestic Violence Advocate with Congreso de Latinos Unidos, where she assisted with client intakes, motions, and document translation for Philadelphia Courts. Stephanie earned her Juris Doctor and Certificate of Trial Advocacy from Philadelphia’s Temple University Beasley School of Law. During her time at Temple University Beasley School of Law, she was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus, the secretary for the Latin American Law Student Association, the bilingual student advocate in the School Discipline Advocacy Series, and the class assistant to the Honorable Mia Perez in Integrated Trial Advocacy. Stephanie is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and is an active member of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she lives in Philadelphia with her spouse and two pit bulls. When she is not advocating for her clients, she spends her time gardening, cooking, restoring old furniture, and traveling.

Dylan Robert Pond Lawyer

2005 Market St Philadelphia, PA 19103

Accident & Injury

Dylan Pond is an attorney at Pond Lehocky Giordano and serves as its Chief Revenue Officer. Dylan is an avid traveler. We’re talking about a “100 countries visited with maybe a few dozen more visited by the time you read this” kind of traveler. He’s such an avid traveler that he was ranked as the second-most-traveled American between the ages of 20 and 29, according to Most Traveled People and NomadMania. But he’s not one of those travelers that touches down in a country, spends a few hours there, and then heads off to another one once he’s checked that country off his list. Not Dylan. He’s more of a “live like a local” type. He wants to feel what it’s like to live in a particular country. He wants to step into the shoes of its citizens and see the world through their eyes. He wants to see the bigger picture of what’s going on in the world beyond his neighborhood, state, and country. Dylan brings this same curiosity and appreciation for the big picture to both of his roles at Pond Lehocky Giordano. As an attorney at the firm, Dylan provides holistic legal counsel to his clients that takes into account the bigger picture. He’s not interested in merely getting a “good” legal result for a client; he’s interested in getting the best overall result for a client given their circumstances and wishes. Oftentimes, the best result for a client means helping them receive additional medical treatment, or other services, so they can regain their physical, mental, and emotional health. Dylan also helps manage the Pond Lehocky Giordano Referral Network, which is made up of thousands of trusted attorneys and doctors across the United States and the world. The firm’s attorneys and staff refer their clients to network members when they are in need of additional assistance with health issues, or legal issues beyond the areas of law that the firm’s attorneys practice themselves. As the firm’s Chief Revenue Officer, a unique position for a law firm of any size and of any type, Dylan is again focused on the big picture. He works with Pond Lehocky Giordano’s founding partners and executive team to strategize about, vet, and fund investments he believes will be profitable for the firm so that it can reinvest profits back into its operations to continue its mission of helping everyone in the world who has been injured or is disabled.

Ben Gibson Lawyer
Location
353 West Lancaster Ave. Suite 110 Wayne, PA 19087

Divorce & Family Law

Ben Gibson is a versatile divorce attorney who is devoted to helping his clients navigate a wide variety of family law situations, including marital settlement agreements, property division, marital agreements, custody, modifications, and alimony. He combines the tenacity of a fierce litigator with the emotional intelligence of a negotiator, making him a standout attorney in the emotionally charged realm of divorce. One way he applies negotiation strategies to ensure positive outcomes for his clients is by approaching each case with the legal standard of what a judge would likely decide if the case were to go to court. This makes it less likely that the other party will flat-out reject the offer or refuse to negotiate. His thoughtful, strategic negotiation skills have proven to be a significant benefit—after all, clients going through divorces need attorneys who can convincingly, eloquently, and passionately argue their cases, and Ben is uniquely equipped to do so. Ben also has a personal perspective in the divorce process, as he went through a divorce. He understands the emotional toll that the end of a marriage can take, and he knows how to guide clients out of that darkness with knowledge of the process and compassion for the situation. Before joining Petrelli Previtera, LLC, he served as a Philadelphia Assistant District Attorney, where he was regularly in the courtroom at least three times each week. This experience shaped him into a hardworking and powerful force in the courtroom. Ben is also committed to ensuring that Philadelphia’s Spanish-speaking community can access quality legal representation. Clear communication between lawyers and clients is one of the most important factors in any case. When a bilingual attorney has limited proficiency in the client’s language, the client suffers. Ben has dedicated much of his education to learning the Spanish language, and he speaks and writes with near-native proficiency. He has a master’s degree in Spanish from Auburn University, and he completed Ph.D.-level coursework in Spanish at Temple University. However, Ben’s experience with Spanish isn’t limited to the world of academics. Before graduating from law school, he worked as a student intern at the Immigrant Justice Clinic in Camden, NJ, representing and building relationships with clients entirely in Spanish. During client meetings, he also served as an interpreter. Ben also interned at Camden’s Mortgage Foreclosure Clinic, performing research and translating legal documents from English to Spanish. After earning his master’s degree and completing his Ph.D. coursework, Ben earned his Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University. He was the recipient of a merit scholarship and graduated cum laude. Although Ben focuses on divorce law, he also assists clients with a range of family law concerns, including spousal support, property division, adoption, child support, and child custody. Ben grew up in North Dakota and now lives in Philadelphia with his tuxedo cat, Rocky. When he isn’t practicing law, he enjoys cooking, baking, and traveling wherever he can.

Lauren Shelby Lawyer
Location
353 West Lancaster Ave. Suite 110 Wayne, PA 19087

Divorce & Family Law

Few situations are as stressful as divorce. Attorney Lauren Shelby understands that when she takes on a new client, she’s meeting them at what may be the most difficult time in their life. That’s why she prioritizes connection and understanding as she works to achieve the best possible resolution for each client. “I don’t want my clients to feel judged,” she says. “I’ll have empathy for their situation, but I’m also here to guide them through their emotions to the best solution.” Guided by Empathy, Grounded in Strategy Lauren takes an empathetic, nonjudgmental approach with every client. She believes that effective legal support starts with understanding the human side of a case. But empathy doesn’t mean passivity. She is also a determined, experienced litigator who has represented clients in court hundreds of times. She knows how to question witnesses, develop compelling trial strategies, and build cases that give her clients the strongest possible footing. Whether in the courtroom or at the negotiation table, Lauren is focused, tactical, and always prepared. Building Strong Cases, In and Out of Court Divorce can be incredibly complex, requiring a lawyer to piece together facts and evidence like a puzzle. Lauren has deep experience gathering and analyzing evidence, taking depositions, and uncovering critical details that support her client’s position. She ensures that no one takes advantage of her clients, especially during emotionally heightened conflicts. While she is fully prepared for trial, Lauren knows that not all divorces should be resolved in court. When possible, she helps clients avoid litigation through skillful negotiation. Her background includes significant experience negotiating fair settlements, even in contentious cases. These resolutions often save clients time, money, and unnecessary emotional strain. Advocating for Families and Children Even relatively simple divorces can be emotionally challenging, and Lauren understands better than most that divorce doesn’t just impact adults in relationships. As a law student, she served as a legal representative for children in custody cases and other family law matters. When she assists clients going through divorce, Lauren aims to help them find the solution that’s best for everyone in the family. “Working directly with clients in the legal system gave me the opportunity to see how the law affects real people, which continues to drive my passion and dedication to providing legal services that people need to make changes in their lives,” she says. Consistent Communication Clients Can Count On No divorce attorney can remove all the stress from the process, but Lauren believes one of the most important things she can do is be reliably present for her clients. She prioritizes consistent, clear communication because uncertainty only grows when questions go unanswered. “I believe in being reliable, easy to get in touch with, and a straight shooter,” she says. “I love communicating with my clients. My clients can expect a problem solver and someone who communicates clearly and consistently with them.” Outside the Office Lauren grew up in Richmond, Virginia, before earning bachelor’s degrees in both political science and history from The Pennsylvania State University. She graduated from Penn State Dickinson Law before launching her legal career in Philadelphia. When she’s not helping families navigate divorce, Lauren enjoys exploring the Philadelphia food scene, planning events for her friends, and spending time with her cat, Kiwi
