About Stephanie
Stephanie Z. Roberge was born and raised in New Jersey. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island, College of Pharmacy in 1987 and received her law degree from the Quinnipiac College School of Law in 1990. After law school, she decided to make Connecticut her home. She resides in Fairfield with her husband, Michael, and children, Marissa and Zachary.
Ms. Roberge has been a member of Kennedy, Johnson, D'Elia & Gillooly since 1998 and became a partner of the firm in 2004. Although her practice involves representation of injured persons in all types of civil actions, the focus of her cases is on medical malpractice litigation. Her medical background has been instrumental in handling cases in virtually all areas of medicine, including obstetrics and gynecology, neurosurgery, emergency medicine, gastroenterology, cardiology, surgery, internal medicine, orthopedics and oncology.
Before joining the firm Ms. Roberge enjoyed eight years of general practice with an emphasis on commercial litigation. In light of these experiences, she continues to handle the gamut of commercial cases which include fair debt and banking practices, construction litigation and other commercial disputes on behalf of the consumer.
In conjunction with her civil practice, Ms. Roberge has represented individuals in various administrative actions, including proceedings before the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health, the Commission on Human Rights & Opportunities, the Unemployment Compensation Commission and the Worker's Compensation Commission.
Although Ms. Roberge does not currently practice pharmacy, she maintains her pharmacy license in the states of Connecticut and Rhode Island.
Ms. Roberge participates in the Connecticut Bar Association and is also a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyer's Association. She is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in the state of Connecticut. Ms. Roberge is also a member of the New York State Bar and the United States Tax Court.
