About Stephen

Mr. Court is a 1999 graduate of Albany Law School and a graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia. During law school Stephen was employed by the Government Law Center at Albany Law School where he conducted legal research for projects involving municipal law and land use, zoning and planning.

Following graduation Stephen worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles where he drafted the analyses of administrative appeals filed under the New York Vehicle and Traffic Law. Within a year Stephen accepted a position as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Schenectady to head the City's tax foreclosure proceedings. During his tenure at the City, Stephen also acted as counsel to the Zoning Board of Appeals and inherited the role of City prosecutor for enforcement of the City's code regulations.

In 2002 Stephen maintained a law practice in Saratoga Springs, NY, fulfilling legal services for debt negotiation, bankruptcy relief, collections, real estate transactions and litigation of cases involving criminal defense, family law, and consumer credit protection. Within his practice Stephen saved many homeowners who found themselves victims of predatory lending and assisted debtors with reorganization of their debt. In 2004 Stephen's office was retained by Amideo Nicholas Guzzone & Associates, P.C., a reputable personal injury law firm in New York, to assist them with their pre-trial litigation of personal injury cases involving auto accidents, slip/fall injuries and no-fault law.

Mr. Court joined the Charlotte law firm of Wells, Daisley and Rabon, P.A. in 2008 as an associate attorney for employment law, business law, and debtor/creditor actions.

Mr. Court is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and North Carolina.
