Mr. Slaven joined Turp, Coates, Driggers & White, P.C. to provide residents of New Jersey with highly competent litigation services in the areas of Criminal Defense including assaults, drug offenses, weapons offenses, Robbery, thefts, and homicides; Municipal Court matter including disorderly person offenses, local ordinance violations traffic offense and DUI/DWI offenses. Prior to joining Turp, Coates, Driggers & White, P.C., Mr. Slaven's legal career began in the criminal justice arena, serving five years as an Assistant Prosecutor in Hudson County, New Jersey where he handled a wide variety of criminal cases from indictment to trial and on through the appellate process in some cases. Thereafter, Mr. Slaven was an associate for a large law firm representing architects and engineers in various types of cases. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Slaven worked as a health insurance investigator, uncovering fraud and recovering fraudulently paid money. His experience handling all aspects of investigations and criminal prosecutions has forged him into a formidable trial attorney with a strong track record for success.
