Steven D. Power, an associate, is an experienced trial lawyer. His practice includes criminal defense (including drunk driving, motor vehicle homicides, traffic offenses, drug offenses, assaults, domestic matters, sexual assault matters, firearms charges, larcenies, juvenile court crimes and various other criminal cases), personal injury (including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, dog bites and other miscellaneous torts), real estate (buyer and seller representation as well as lenders) and civil litigation. Attorney Power is a litigation attorney representing clients throughout Massachusetts.
Attorney Power has practiced in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for over ten years and during that time has tried hundreds of cases in front of juries and judges. Mr. Power was an Assistant District Attorney from 1998 until 2002 and prosecuted cases throughout Central Massachusetts in that capacity. During this time, he was in charge of prosecuting all drug cases in Worcester Central District Court and aided in determining which cases would be indicted and sent to the Superior Court. Since that time, Attorney Power has been defending clients who have been accused of a crime, or under criminal investigation, in courts throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He has appeared in District, Superior and Federal District Court on a daily basis since joining the firm of Glickman, Sugarman, Kneeland & Gribouski in 2003.
Mr. Power was born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is a 1989 graduate of Saint John's High School, Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, where he played football. He has volunteered at Saint John's as a coach for the Pioneers mock trial team, and is an active member of the school's alumni committee. He is a 1993 graduate of William College, Williamstown, Massachusetts, where he played varsity football for four years. Attorney Power is also an alumnus of New England School of Law, Boston, Massachusetts. He is active in the Town of Shrewsbury where he has volunteered by coaching and sponsoring teams in Shrewsbury Youth Football and Shrewsbury Little League for baseball and softball.
