Prior to becoming a prosecutor for the District Attorney's Office, Steven represented clients in the criminal arena. In the first jury trial of his career, Steven successfully represented a client who was charged with a serious felony offense, and was facing 15 years in prison. The jury came back with a lesser and included verdict of 5 years. In the second jury trial of his career, his client admitted to having shot the victim, yet Steven skillfully convinced 11 out of 12 jurors that his client was not guilty of 2nd degree murder. The jury returned a ""Not Guilty"" verdict after only 3 hours of deliberation. Steven's attention is now focused on prosecuting those who have violated the law, and has sent countless criminals to jail. In his civil practice, Steven takes on the insurance companies to ensure his clients receive each and every penny they deserve. He currently represents clients against national and local insurance companies.
