About Stryder

After moving to Seattle at the age of eight, Stryder J. Wegener has never left. He is proud to make his home here and represent the people of King County and the surrounding areas with various legal issues, from personal injuries and traffic tickets to serious criminal charges.

Stryder graduated from the University of Washington in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Psychology.

He went on to earn a Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law where he graduated Cum Laude in 2004. After law school, Stryder worked at the YWCA of Pierce County in the legal services department, where he represented primarily Spanish speaking victims of domestic violence in matters ranging from criminal hearings to protection orders and dissolutions.

These experiences fostered Stryder’s perspective on how cases are practically handled and instilled a deep appreciation that everyone deserves responsive and aggressive legal representation. This guided him to establish Emerald City Law Group, which is dedicated to protecting people’s rights. With a unique focus on listening to our clients and fostering real, lasting relationships, attorney Wegener and every member of our firm is committed to being a tireless advocate for those seeking justice.

In addition to fighting for the seriously injured and those facing criminal charges, Stryder has distinguished himself as a well-respected legal authority. In 2010, Seattle criminal defense attorney Wegener was a lecturer at the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar & Criminal Law Seminar, where along with David Gehrke, he presented “Uncertainty in Scientific Evidence in DUI Cases.”

Attorney Wegener is bilingual, speaking Spanish and English. When he is not working on behalf of his clients, Stryder enjoys spending time with his daughter, Chloe. He is also a loyal fan of the Washington Huskies and Seattle Seahawks.
