Summer is licensed in Nevada, Illinois, and before federal courts. A graduate of Indiana University Bloomington and DePaul University College of Law, she is now in her 10th year of practicing law and focuses on family law in both Nevada and Illinois.

Shaped by her international upbringing, Summer has experience with cross border family law matters, including Hague Convention cases, international service issues, and multi state jurisdictional disputes. She also serves as a divorce financial mediator, QDRO drafter and has been appointed as a Guardian Ad Litem, advocating for children’s best interests.

Beyond her practice, Summer is an active advocate for the Asian American community. She serves as Co-Director of Communications for the Asian Bar Association of Nevada and regularly participates in the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s Lobby Day in Washington, D.C. She has a history of volunteering at Legal Aid of Southern Nevada, Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, Asian Community Development Council, Chinese Mutual Aid and Chinese American Service League with her legal and bilingual skills ever since law school.

One of her most memorable victories involved securing the return of a toddler from a Hague Convention country after two years of litigation and multiple appeals.
