Represented oil and gas companies in multi-million dollar cases, including breach of contract case brought by producer against processing plant claiming misallocation of residue gas and plant products, breach of contract brought by processing plant against operator regarding misallocation of entitlements and deliveries, breach of contract case brought by interstate pipeline against processing plant for recovery of over-payments of presumed overdeliveries due to misreporting of custody meter, personal injury case brought by plaintiffs claiming environmental contamination, personal injury case brought by plaintiffs as a result of a flash fire explosion and class action suit claiming property damage as a result of seismic exploration.
Environmental Law
Represented pipe threading company in personal injury case and property damage case, in which plaintiffs claim exposure to NORM/TERM as a result of cleaning oil field pipe and in which property owner claimed damage to property as a result of NORM/TERM contamination.
Construction
Represented fabricator of pre-engineered metal buildings in multi-million dollar breach of contract suit with counterclaims regarding the construction of a church the size of a football field.

Represented commercial landlords and commercial brokers and property management companies in various real estate transaction dispute.

Admiralty & Maritime
Represented manufacturer and designer of jack up drilling vessel in suit by owner of vessel arising out of collapse during jacking operations offshore Louisiana. Also represented insured in subsequent dispute with insurer.
International Law
Represented Mexican insurance company in multi-million dollar insurance coverage dispute as a result of an airplane crash in which plaintiff sought millions.
BACKGROUND:
Suzanna was born and raised in Houston, Texas, graduating in 3 years from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish magna cum laude. Additionally, she studied economics and business negotiations in Monterrey, Mexico at I.T.E.S.M. Technologico. She obtained her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas in 1999. Suzanna was admitted to practice in all Texas state courts in 1999 and in the Southern District of Texas in 2000. She is a member of the Houston Bar Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association and American Bar Association.
Suzanna joined the firm in the summer of 2004, having practiced as an associate with the law firms of Watt, Beckworth & Carrigan, LLP and Sydow & Carrigan, LLP. In 2005, Suzanna was nominated as a Rising Star for lawyers practicing in Texas under the age of 40. Her areas of practice are general litigation, including complex commercial litigation, business litigation, international litigation, oil and gas litigation, personal injury litigation, and employment litigation.
