Tim Coode is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee. He graduated from Texas Christian University, earning his B.A. in History in 1981. He then attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he received his JD/MBA degree in 1986. In 1987, he was admitted to practice law in the state of Tennessee. He has also been admitted in the federal District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee and the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, he is a fifth generation Memphian.
