I am a divorce attorney who is a Board Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialists. Not only am I a dedicated lawyer but I am also a dedicated family’s man and member of the community. I understand the stress, time and responsibilities of raising a family in my North Dallas community. I have been married for 31 years, I am raising two children who are attending J.J. Pearce High School and Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. My son plays football at Southwestern. Mr. Pierret attended the University of Dallas on full academic scholarship, obtaining a degree in Philosophy, and went straight to law school at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. His first job as an attorney brought him to Fort Worth as a briefing attorney for Justices Clyde Ashworth and David Farris on the Fort Worth Court of Appeals, and he has remained in Tarrant County for the past 35 years. Mr. Pierret’s practice has always revolved around tort law, both plaintiff and defense, and he has been Board-certified in Civil Trial Law since 1991 and Personal Injury Law since 1998. He received a Top 10 Attorney Award in 2020 from the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys, and his practice at Bailey & Galyen is devoted to representing those who have been injured by someone else’s negligence.

After graduating law school with honors Duane Stamp began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in New York, successfully prosecuting felony and high-profile criminal cases. This was followed by a tenure as Assistant Attorney General with the New York State Department of Law, focusing on environmental protection and compliance. Duane was approached by Fortune 100 Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE- OXY) and accepted a position as associate general counsel. He spent the next nineteen years in Oxy’s legal department accumulating a wealth of experience in the legal aspects of business issues management, corporate governance, sales, purchasing, new business development, corporate transactions and financing, financial reporting and regulatory compliance, rising to the level of division Vice-President and General Counsel. During his years with Oxy Duane traveled extensively, domestically and internationally, as a leading member of Oxy’s business teams negotiating, documenting and closing high-value merger, acquisition and new business development transactions with companies across the United States and in Canada, Germany, the UK, Brazil, Argentina, Thailand and Japan. Duane is currently the managing member of Stamp Law Group PLLC. Since 2010 his boutique firm has provided general counsel and business consulting services with a focus on small businesses and entrepreneurs involved in a wide variety of enterprises. Duane’s extensive business and legal experience makes him a value-added and cost-effective member of his clients’ teams assisting their business development in the e-commerce era to achieve effective and responsible growth and profitability. Duane received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy with honors from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a law degree with honors from Western New England University in Springfield, Massachusetts where he was a contributor to the Law Review. Duane is admitted to practice in New York and Texas and before various federal courts. An avid (but still frustratingly mediocre) golfer, part-time piano player, and language enthusiast, Duane and his wife, Linda, reside in Dallas, Texas.

For over 20 years Myron E. Mims Esq. has provided legal and consulting services to small and medium sized businesses. At the turn of the century Mims co-founded a boutique law firm (Nixon Mims, LLP) that developed a niche advising and representing a diverse clientele of small businesses. Nixon Mims also operated a American Title office in downtown Dallas that serviced its real estate clients. Mims served as general counsel and oversaw compliance for many of the firm’s clients operating under state and federal regulatory oversight. Today, Mims’ practice remains focused on providing value-add legal services to businesses and real estate entrepreneurs, with an acute focus on advising growth-stage companies seeking to institute a sound governance foundation; develop viable growth, capitalization, and succession (exit) plans; and access equity capital and alternative financing markets. Mims honed his leadership skills thru civic service, including as mayor-appointed chairman of two downtown Dallas’ Tax Increment Financing District (TIF) boards, and chairman of the City’s first local government corporation. Mims also served as board and executive board member of the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce where he worked with neighborhood business owners and pioneering real estate developers to improve the economic conditions of this large and diverse urban neighborhood abutting downtown Dallas. Mims current leadership initiatives include helping emerging domestic market companies (EDMCs) access capital markets.

Braden Bennett, the Firm’s principal attorney, has been practicing construction litigation since 2009. He studied at the University of San Diego School of Law, where he was a member of the San Diego Law Review. Mr. Bennett graduated with honors from the University Southern California in 2004. He enjoys travel, fishing, fitness, and Trojan football.

Mr. Villeda is dually licensed as an attorney and CPA with more than 40 years of legal experience. His business background and training is a major reason why he is known throughout South Texas as “The Valley’s Business Lawyer."

Constance Wannamaker, attorney and founder, advocates for the legal rights of immigrants and runs ultramarathons. Fluent in Spanish, she joined VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) to assist migrants and refugees. She studied at Oxford University, working in the Immigration Law Clinic. After graduating from the University of Maryland Law School in 1999, she began her career fighting for the rights of immigrants across the nation. Ross A. Brennan leads our Texas office in Austin. His practice consists of Plaintiff-focused civil litigation, including personal injury and civil rights. Ross is a trial lawyer with a passion for storytelling. He also formerly worked full-time as an investigator. His unique skill set enables him to dive into the facts of a case and hunt for the next key piece of evidence, which may turn out to be the difference at trial. Ross served on active duty in the Air Force Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps for five assignments, attaining the rank of Major. For his first three assignments, Ross was at offices in South Carolina, Alaska, and Colorado, where he worked as a prosecutor and also provided general legal support to base personnel. Ross then served two assignments as a defense lawyer, representing Air Force members who had been accused of wrongdoing. In total, Ross tried 38 courts-martial while on active duty, 18 of which were in front of juries. After Honorably separating from active duty, Ross worked full-time as an investigator—first with a state agency, followed by a state university. His investigations pertained primarily to civil rights, employment discrimination, and other matters that were frequently the subject of federal civil litigation. Missing the courtroom dearly, Ross then brought his unique experiences (and passion for trial) to Cronauer Law’s Texas office. Since joining Cronauer Law, Ross has helped the firm secure multiple six- and seven-figure jury verdicts and settlements.
