Ms. Clardy is a longtime community and professional volunteer. Her list of Additionally, Ms. Clardy’s past and present services includes serving as a board member of the Dallas Bar Association’s Family Law Section, chair of the State Bar’s General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Section, and president of the Best Southwest Bar Association and president of the Concerned DeSoto Citizens (CDC) organization. She is also a co-founder of the Dallas Association of Black Women’s Attorneys (DABWA, which subsequently merged with the J.L.Turner Legal Association). From 2002-2008, she served as a member of the DeSoto, Texas City Council, with her last year serving as Mayor Pro Tem of that council.

With an eye toward clients’ need to budget for legal fees, Ms. Clardy does provide payment installment plans upon payment of an initial consultation fee which is applied toward the client’s retainer. Ms. Clardy also seeks attorney’s fees whenever the case warrants same either by statute or otherwise.
