About Thomas

Tom joined Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin in 1997 and has developed considerable experience in the area of workers' compensation teaching the first course in this subject as an Adjunct Professor at Widener University. Tom also has gained extensive experience defending cases in the areas of premises liability, motor vehicle, products liability, torts, negligence defense, professional liability, and law enforcement.

Tom is a graduate of C.W. Post College. After graduation he moved to Delaware from New York where he grew up. Prior to beginning law school in 1987, he was a police officer in New Castle, Delaware. While a student at Widener University School of Law, Tom worked for the Delaware Department of Natural Resources & Environmental Control, where he drafted a set of water pollution regulations. He also worked at several area law firms where he did a variety of work.

Following graduation from Widener, he served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Henry Du Pont Ridgely, President Judge, and the Honorable Myron T. Steele in the Superior Court.

Tom is an active member of his community, working with local volunteer fire companies. He is a Water Rescue Instructor with the Delaware State Fire School and the Department of Natural Resources. As an avid scuba diver, Tom runs the New Castle County Dive Team.
