A  Litigation Attorney since 1998, Thomas Hrouda handles all types of Civil, Business, Real Estate, and Bankruptcy related lawsuits.

After graduating from U.C. Davis, School of Law in 1997, Mr. Hrouda externed with an United States Bankruptcy Court Judge (the Honorable Robert W. Alberts) at the Riverside Division of the Central District of California Bankruptcy Courts.

After getting his State Bar Results (and passing on the first attempt), Mr. Hrouda went to work at a Riverside, California Law Firm, where his primary practice areas were Civil and Bankruptcy Litigation.  Later he joined a Santa Ana, California, Law Firm where he spent 18 months handling Bankruptcy, Mortgage, and Commercial Litigation for various institutional Mortgage Bankers, Foreclosure Trustees, and Consumer Lenders.

In 2000, Mr. Hrouda opened his first office in Riverside, CA, providing civil litigation services to clients throughout the Inland Empire.

Over the years, he has been Of Counsel to a Real Estate Litigation Boutique, a part-time associate for a General Practice Law Firm, and a Freelance Attorney providing independent contractor services to other Attorneys in the areas of Bankruptcy, Mortgage & Foreclosure Law, Commercial & Civil Litigation, and General Real Estate Law.  Additionally, he has been an Adjunct College Instructor on the Topics of Business, Law, Business Law, Corporate Finance, & Criminal Justice Administration,  among other things,  teaching a total of 28 classes.

Since 2016,  he has worked as Director of Legal Affairs for a Single Family Office and from 2016-2019, served on the investment committee of a private equity startup seed money fund. Current Projects include serving on the steering committee establishing a Real Estate Private Equity Fund.

In addition to earning his Juris Doctorate at U.C. Davis, he has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of California at Riverside, and an Associates Degree from Riverside Community College. At law school, he was on the Trial Honors Board, a VITA volunteer, and an intern for the Yolo County District Attorney White Collar Crimes Division. He has completed the Orange County Bar Associations College of Trial Advocacy.

After 5 day Bench Trial, verdict for Defense, my Client was found not liable.

Business Tort- Employment Cross

After 2 years of litigation, case went to trial. Motion for Non-Suit Granted against Plaintiff, Judgment for my Client against her ex-employer for $60k in Damages, $37k in Statutory Attorney Fees.
