Native Houstonian Fred Jones attended Houston public schools. After graduating from MIT, Fred returned to Texas and earned a JD from UT School of Law. A practicing attorney since 1977, he is a solo practitioner whose background includes partnership and senior attorney positions in private law firms in Houston and Phoenix, and a senior attorney position with the Houston office of the FDIC. Although consumer and creditor bankruptcy have always been important segments of his practice, he holds extensive experience in many areas of general practice including real estate, real estate foreclosure litigation, probate, wills and trust, and business and commercial law.
