James “Jim” P. DeLorenzo joined the firm as an associate in 1999 and was named partner in 2001. Mr. DeLorenzo received his B.A. from the Pennsylvania State University in 1991 and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore in 1994. Mr. DeLorenzo is admitted to practice in the State of Maryland and in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. His over three decades of legal practice have taken him before virtually every jurisdiction in the State, including the Court of Special Appeals. Mr. DeLorenzo represents clients in domestic relations, criminal defense and personal injury matters. In the domestic relations area of his practice, Mr. DeLorenzo assists clients in drafting/negotiating Separation Agreements, obtaining divorces and litigating custody/visitation. Additionally, he is often appointed by the Court to represent children whose parents are involved in litigation related to their custody and/or visitation. A.J. Serafini grew up in Hagerstown, Maryland, and is the son of former State Senator Andrew Serafini, Sr. He graduated from Grace Academy in 2005 and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Government from Liberty University, graduating summa cum laude in 2008 after just three years. Brett M. Dieck graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business in 2003. In May 2009, Brett obtained his Juris Doctorfrom the University of Baltimore School of Law. Throughout law school, Brett worked as a law clerk for a small firm in Annapolis, Maryland and a large firm in Towson, Maryland. In December 2009, Brett was admitted to the Maryland State Bar and in September 2011 Brett was admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Brett is currently a member of the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA), the Baltimore County Bar Association, and the Baltimore City Bar Association. Additionally, Brett is qualified as a Civil Mediator in the State of Maryland.Since 2002, Brett has worked in the title industry providing marketing and settlement services as an agent licensed by the State of Maryland.
