About Tiffany
While at the University of Miami, Tiffany had the distinguished honor of clerking for the Honorable Judge Maxine Cohen Lando, United States Judge, for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court. She was a Certified Legal Intern at the Office of the Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida and participated in the University of Miami’s Capital Defense Project through which she represented individuals convicted of capital offenses. As a student in the Litigation Skills Clinical Program, she was awarded the Honorable Theodore Klein Endowed Scholarship for ability and excellence in oral and written advocacy and a commitment to public service. Prior to joining the DeWitt Law Firm, P.A. Tiffany began her legal career at a full service firm in Maitland and concentrated her practice in the area of mortgage foreclosure defense, criminal defense, family and domestic law, and general civil litigation.
Tiffany is a member of the University of Central Florida and University of Miami, School of Law Alumni Chapters as well as the Orange County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband, family and adorable puppy.

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
A 2015 Orange County Family Law Case: Mother was not allowing Father to see his child or have access to records. Our firm filed an Emergency Pick-up Order and the Judge awarded father custody of child and abated child support payments until further order of the court. An Orange County Family Law Case: Helped Mother set aside default entered against her and was able to settle her divorce with the cost of trial. She was awarded the marital home and alimony.

Hard work, dedication, creative advertising, strong reputation in the legal community, and networking.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Someone who is empathic, knowledgable, attentive, and aggressive when needed.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
I believe it is very important. Your case can definitely benefit from know how certain Judges like to run their courtroom and knowing other attorneys in the field. Oftentimes, I have attorneys on the other side who I have worked with before and it makes the process go much smoother.

I can provide legal advise, a plan of action, and cost.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
I need details about the particular case, information regarding any prior court action taken by either party in regards to the specific matter at hand, clear and concise answers to my questions and any relevant documents emailed to me beforehand.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
Having worked at different law firms in central Florida, I've had to opportunity to see the good and the bad. I now run my own firm and bring all that experience to the table.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Helping and counseling my clients.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
Family, traveling, cooking, and volunteering.
Are you involved in your community?
Yes, I love volunteering and I'm an active member of my church in Oviedo.
