About Timothy
Tim received his undergraduate degree in political science as well as his law degree from the University of South Dakota. While in Law School, Tim was on the National Moot Court Team and the Order of Barristers. He is admitted to and actively handles lawsuits and trials in federal, state and workers' compensation courts in Iowa, South Dakota and Nebraska. He is a member of the Iowa State, South Dakota State and Nebraska State Bar Associations. He has served multiple terms on the Iowa Workers' Compensation Section Council.
Tim has a general practice, including but not limited to personal injury, litigation, trial law, workers' compensation, insurance defense and coverage, professional liability, legal malpractice and employment law. Representation in civil litigation includes both plaintiffs and defendants and on behalf of both the employer and the injured worker in workers' compensation claims.
Outside the practice of law, Tim is a current member and Past President of the Iowa Lottery Authority having been appointed by the State's Governor in 2002. He is a current member of the University of South Dakota Board of Trustees. He serves on a number of Church committees and is active with numerous charitable organizations.
Tim was born and raised here in Sioux City, Iowa. He and his wife, Paula, have two children. When not working, his time, like most parents with children, is spent going from one child's activity to the next.
