Military:  Served as Surface Nuclear propulsion officer, qualified as Surface Warfare Officer.  Four Commanding Officer tours in Navy Reserve. 

Legal:  Served as Floyd County Indiana Public Defender in 1991 and 1992.  Admitted to 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.  Member of Real Estate, Probate and Trust and Elder Law sections of Indiana State Bar Association; National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; Louisville Estate Planning Council.  Primary areas of practice are wills, trusts, estate planning, probate and elder law. 

Community Involvement:  Serves as U.S. Naval Academy Blue and Gold Information Officer for Southern Indiana; President of Board of Directors of the Rauch Foundation.
