About Todd
He began his legal career in major Manhattan law firms handling sophisticated products liability cases and patent litigations. In 1998, Mr. Rubin returned to Long Island to concentrate in personal injury law and has litigated hundreds of matters from inception through trial or settlement.
Mr. Rubin began working with the Finz firm in 2004, where he handles cases involving personal injury resulting from motor vehicle accidents, unsafe premises, defective products, lead paint, defective medical devices and defective drugs. Mr. Rubin has extensive knowledge in litigating complicated personal injury cases and has successfully handled cases involving severe brain injuries, RSD, spinal injuries, orthopedic injuries, neurological injuries, blindness, amputations, burn injuries, disfigurement and psychological injuries.
Mr. Rubin is dedicated to fighting for the rights of the firm's clients and is recognized by his peers as being an aggressive and skilled litigator. Mr. Rubin makes it a priority to have a personal relationship with every client he represents and makes sure that the firm's clients are fully informed about their case. Mr. Rubin's philosophy of always being prepared and not letting up on even the most difficult cases has resulted in his obtaining millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for the clients of the firm, many of which have been published in the Jury Verdict Reporter.
Mr. Rubin also practices in the firm's truck accident litigation group and worked with Stuart L. Finz in obtaining a record settlement in the sum of $21,000,000.00 for a child who was severely injured when the vehicle he was traveling in was struck by a tractor-trailer.
Mr. Rubin also participated in the landmark trial of Rose v. American Tobacco et al., which resulted in a jury verdict against Philip Morris USA Inc. and American Tobacco in the amount of $20,520,000.
Mr. Rubin is admitted to the New York State Bar, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, and the United States Court of Federal Claims.
