Seth Okin is a Maryland criminal lawyer with experience representing clients on a variety of matters, personally appearing in all of the State of Maryland’s 24 counties. The New York native made his way to Maryland via American University in Washington, DC, and Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland, where he graduated with Bachelor of Science degrees in Sociology and Anthropology. He began his Master’s Degree in Negotiation, Mediation, and Conflict Management and completed his Juris Doctorate at the University of Baltimore. Seth is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Baltimore County Bar Association, the Prince George’s County Bar Association, the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorney’s Association, and the American Bar Association. He has experience in family law, both in general mediation and child access mediation. Additionally, Seth has done extensive work in the field of personal injury, medical malpractice and landlord/tenant matters. When Seth is not at his Washington D.C., Rockville or Baltimore Law Offices, he devotes much of his free time to supporting the American Cancer Society, specifically in the area of funding-raising for Breast Cancer, Leukemia/Lymphoma and Lung Cancer research, as well as the Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital for Children. Additionally, Seth takes pride in his annual sponsorship of the Howard County Bar Association’s Bowling for Badges, Salvation Army Angel Tree Program and in pet rescues where he is an active participant in the local community.

A native Baltimorean, Mr. Rifkin has spent his career helping people. He graduated college in three years from the George Washington University with distinction, attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he won the prestigious Edwin R. Keedy Cup in Moot Court competition. He returned home to practice law which he has done since 1982. He has taught legal courses at Stevenson University as an adjunct professor and has chaired the Maryland State Bar Association Franchise and Distribution Law Committee. He is a long-time member of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising.
