About Travis
Travis joins the personal injury and litigation team at Melchert Hubert Sjodin. His practice is devoted to representing individuals who have been injured at work, in motor vehicle accidents, or in other matters. For several years before coming to our firm, Travis litigated cases as a defense attorney for insurance companies. Now “on the other side” Travis uses this experience to protect the rights of the injured.
He believes that a client is best served by an attorney who is always prepared to go to trial but has enough empathy and compassion to walk clients through a challenging time in their lives. Travis makes good use of his superb listening skills and his “people first” mentality.
Travis grew up in Chanhassen, Minnesota. He attended Bethel University where, in addition to majoring in Business and Political Science, he pitched for the varsity baseball team and was named M.I.A.C. Pitcher of the Year. He went onto attend law school at William Mitchell College of Law. During law school, Travis served as a student certified attorney for the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office representing the County in child protection and criminal matters. It was during this time that Travis developed his passion for litigation and working in the courtroom. After graduating from law school, 100% of Travis’ practice has been devoted to litigation.
Travis is a member of the Minnesota Associate for Justice, the Eighth District Bar Association, and the Minnesota Bar Association.
When he’s not working, Travis enjoys coaching and playing baseball, serving on committees at his family’s church and community development center, and chasing around his wild toddler.
