About Travis
Travis L. Turner was born in North Carolina in 1977. He graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas with a B.A. in 1999. He then traveled to Omaha, Nebraska where he attended Creighton University School of Law earning his J.D. in 2003.
Travis was admitted to practice law by the Texas Supreme Court of Texas in 2003. Travis immediately began working with the Texas Workforce Commission, specializing in unemployment benefits. Soon thereafter Travis entered the family law arena working for the Law Office of Edwin J. (Ted) Terry. Travis then joined the Law Office of James W. Piper in June of 2006. Travis worked his way up to becoming a partner in 2009. March 1, 2009, the firm became known as Piper & Turner, PLLC.
Travis has been Board Certified in Family Law since 2009.
Travis has co-authored several legal articles dealing with Cyber-Evidence and Business Valuation. Travis limits his practice solely to family law related matters.
