Tyson Stanek was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and graduated from Casady High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas in 1996. After a career in software development, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2006.
