About W. John
Managing Partner John Weir graduated with honors from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey School of Law in Camden, NJ. He began his legal career at McLaughlin & Cooper, P.C. in Trenton, N.J. where he was mentored by the late James J. McLaughlin. He began trying cases within months of being admitted to the New Jersey Bar. Since then, Mr. Weir has developed an impressive track record and has tried numerous jury trials in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Mercer County, Middlesex County, Camden County, Somerset County, Monmouth County and Hunterdon County as well as Federal Court.
Mr. Weir has handled a wide variety of civil matters. He has represented Fortune 500 companies in asbestos litigation, Fortune 100 oil companies in benzene litigation, large companies in toxic tort litigation and prominent New Jersey insurance companies in a variety of insurance and negligence issues.
