About Wade

Wade L. Griffin, Jr. received his Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University School of Law in May of 1998.  He was admitted to the Texas Bar in November of that same year.  Mr. Griffin began his legal career in private practice in Lubbock, Texas.  The practice was concentrated in family law matters.  In 2001 Mr. Griffin accepted a position with the Child Support Division of the Texas Attorney General's Office in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  He handled thousands of child support cases involving enforcement, modification, interstate, and establishment issues.

 

Following his service with the  Texas Attorney General's Office, Mr. Griffin returned to private practice with the firm of Bailey & Galyen in 2006.  He continued the concentration of his practice in representing clients in all types of family law matters.

 

Mr. Griffin has nearly eleven years of family law experience and has handled thousands of family law cases, including divorce, marital property distribution, adoptions, custody, grandparent rights, visitation modification and enforcement, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, retirement division and child protective service cases.  Mr. Griffin has extensive experience in litigation having tried well over 500 cases before the courts of the State of Texas.  He also has settled many cases through negotiation and mediation.

 

Mr. Griffin currently limits his practice to family law matters.
