Through a chapter 11 bankruptcy filed in 2019, a local restaurant and pub was able to restructure its mortgages and IRS obligations and remain in business.
How did you build a successful practice?Through 25+ years of honest and experienced representation of both individual and corporate clients and continuation of a general practice started by my father in 1958.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?Honest and experienced advise based on an understanding of each's clients personal circumstances so all opinions can be explored and recommendations made.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?Local knowledge is important in understanding the knowledge, expertise and idiosyncrasies of local judges and/or opposing lawyer.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?Quick answers to client's immediate legal questions to ascertain whether Snell & Snell can provide further representation.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?Brief explanation of facts in order to provide quick answer from experienced lawyer.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?Honest and experienced representation at fair price.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?Mostly alleviating clients' stress and anxiety caused by excess debt or potential loss of their home through foreclosure. I often tell clients that I cannot cure medical ailments but I can cure their debt problems.
What are your other interests in addition to law?As a lifetime resident of the Daytona-Ormond beach area, I enjoy all water sports, including surfing and both inshore and offshore fishing.
Are you involved in your community?I am a board member and current president of the Halifax Historical Society, which operates the Halifax Historical Museum located in downtown Daytona Beach..
