In 1995, Mr. Rich joined the World Space Corporation, where he served as its director of international business developments through 1997. From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Rich worked with the law firm of Heggestad & Weiss where he headed its international telecommunications consulting division while supporting its insurance defense litigation practice. For corporate practice, Mr. Rich has provided legal advice and support for a number of “mega” transactions including the SBC’s acquisition of AT&T and Cingular’s merger with AT&T Wireless. He has also participated in major regulatory controversies involving antitrust before the United States Department of Justice. Since 2001, Mr. Rich has directed his professional focus exclusively to advancing the rights of tort victims joining Larry C. Williams and Associates in 2002. There, Mr. Rich expanded the firm’s personal injury practice, establishing its medical malpractice unit to include some of the most distinguished attorneys and medical professionals in the area.
