Kevin Hannon is a partner in Singleton Schreiber and a member of our environmental litigation, mass tort, and personal injury and wrongful death practice groups. Mr. Hannon has extensive experience in successfully litigating environmental cases in multiple state and federal courts. Two of Mr. Hannon’s environmental trials, Orjias v. Louisiana-Pacific and Escamilla v. Asarco, achieved the largest jury awards in environmental cases in Colorado at the time of verdict. The Escamilla case resulted in a $28 million verdict and the cleanup of a neighborhood of 570 homes. His work in NWIS v. Public Service resulted in the application for closure of a leaking underground natural gas storage facility. In Wilks v. Phelps Dodge, Mr. Hannon acted as lead counsel on behalf of a community with contaminated groundwater and achieved a settlement that included a medical monitoring program, replacement drinking water wells, and monetary compensation for his clients. In many of Mr. Hannon’s environmental cases, he has negotiated not only a monetary payment for his clients, but also remediation of the contamination. Mr. Hannon is currently serving as the Chair of the Class Action Committee for Depo-Provera Injection Litigation. He has served and now serves as lead counsel in several environmental class actions in several states including Arizona and Missouri. Mr. Hannon has successfully completed cases involving air, groundwater, soil and noise pollution and continues to represent businesses and individuals for personal injury and property damage from solvents, heavy metals, lead waste, lead paint, radiation, pesticides, petroleum products, and other substances. Mr. Hannon has given dozens of seminar presentations for professional attorneys’ associations during the past three decades. His recent seminars for the American Association for Justice included “Rapid Response Seminar: Recent Train Derailments: Environmental and Toxic Torts, Damages,” March 2023; “Avoiding Federal Court By Avoiding Snap Removal,” July 2022; and “Update on Medical Monitoring Case Law,” July 2021. Prior to joining Singleton Schreiber, Mr. Hannon established The Hannon Law Firm in 1988. Before beginning his law career, Mr. Hannon worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the air quality and toxic substances programs. Mr. Hannon graduated from Georgetown University Law Center. He earned a master’s degree cum laude in environmental management from Duke University. During law school, Mr. Hannon served as science advisor for Trial Lawyers for Public Justice (TLPJ), a national public interest law firm. Mr. Hannon is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Colorado Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA), American Association of Justice, and bar and trial associations for the District of Columbia, Missouri, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. He chaired the American Association of Justice’s Environmental and Toxics Committee from 2022-2023. In 2024, Mr. Hannon was elected as one of six Governing Board Members with Public Justice. Mr. Hannon’s work has been recognized with numerous professional awards, including the “Trial Lawyer of the Year” award from the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice Foundation in Washington, D.C., and CTLA’s “Case of the Year” and “Outstanding Young Trial Lawyer” awards. Mr. Hannon is admitted to practice in the state courts of Colorado, the District of Columbia, Missouri, New Hampshire, Wyoming and Wisconsin; the U.S. District Court for the districts of Arizona, Colorado, and the Eastern and Western districts of Missouri; the First, Third, Eighth, and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals; the U.S. Court of Federal Claims; and the U.S. Supreme Court. Since moving to Denver, Mr. Hannon has served on the Management Committee for the NCAA Men’s Final Four Basketball Tournament. He worked for the Colorado Baseball Partnership and on the Management Committee for the Colorado Baseball Commission in the efforts to build a new baseball-only stadium and to locate a Major League Baseball franchise in Colorado.

Jessica Meeder is Senior Counsel at Singleton Schreiber and part of the firm’s Environmental Litigation group, where she focuses on complex litigation strategy, briefing, and advocacy.

Eric Staton lived in Illinois until he was in the second grade, then in Spring, Texas, until his junior year in high school. His family moved to Littleton, Colorado in 1990, where he finished high school at Heritage High School. After high school, Eric studied English and Philosophy in Regis University, so the practice of Law appealed to him because he wanted a career that utilized his strengths in writing and analytical thinking. Eric studied Law at Rutgers School of Law. Eric was mentored in the area of workers’ compensation by one of the best lawyers who ever practiced in that area in Colorado, and he focuses his legal practice primarily on workers’ compensation claims, wrongful death claims, and injury claims of all types. Eric Staton has been a licensed Colorado lawyer for over twenty (20) years and has been with the Mintz Law Firm, LLC since March 2005 as a personal injury lawyer.

Tom Bulger has been a member of the firm (then known as Silvern Law Offices, PC) 1996 when he moved to Colorado here from Philadelphia, where he had worked for a large personal injury law firm. He is a graduate of Canisius College (honors in History, and International Affairs) and Rutgers University School of Law (1993). He has worked as a clerk for a United States District Court Judge and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in its criminal and Organized Crime Divisions. He has been successful as sole trial counsel and also before appellate courts. His record in jury trial includes verdicts for our clients of $640,000.00 (motorcycle accident), $160,000.00 (auto accident); and over $500,000 (slip and fall on ice in the mountains). Recently his appellate advocacy on appeal preserved a $470,000.00 judgment that he had won in Adams County in a slip and fall case. He has also obtained millions of dollars in quiet, confidential settlement for our clients, and has received a rating of 4.4 of 5 from the Martindale-Hubble peer review process (Distinguished) and 4.8 of 5 (Preeminent) based on client surveys. Tom has handled cases all over Colorado, from trials in the Denver Metro area (Denver, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Boulder, Lakewood, Littleton, Thorton and Broomfield) to the mountains. He is currently the managing member of the firm. In addition to his background in personal injury law, he has developed a strong employee benefit practice which focuses on long term disability, short term disability, medical (and other insurance benefits), and ERISA cases (the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974). Mr. Pearson has 30 years experience in business law, business management and consulting. He has received a Martindale-Hubbell top AV@ rating for attorneys and is President of Pearson & Paris, P.C., a prestigious Colorado law firm which emphasizes commercial transactions and litigation, real estate, banking, insurance and recreation law, and criminal defense. Mr. Pearson has an extensive background in business transactions and litigation and he routinely advises on matters related to both. He founded and is chairman of the board of RiverReach Youth Initiative, an organization that helps young people gain a sense of responsibility to their community and environment, rewarding participating youth with recreational outings. He holds a B.S. and Juris Doctorate degrees and lectures frequently in the areas of business and related liability issues including recreational liability. Ms. Myers joined Pearson & Paris, P.C. on January 8, 2018. Ms. Myers received her Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University Law School. During her law school tenure, Ms. Myers served as Editor-in-Chief of the Valparaiso University Law Review and was one of the founding members and treasurer of the Asian American Pacific Islander Law Student Association. Ms. Myers also participated in the Juvenile and Family Law clinic where she served as Guardian Ad Litem in family related matters to help resolve disputes of parenting time and decision-making responsibility. Ms. Myers also appeared in the Porter County Juvenile Court as a public defender for individuals facing contempt charges for failure to pay child support. Ms. Myers was a recipient of the Hoeppner, Wagner & Evans Scholarship for outstanding commitment to the law school and was awarded the Scribes Award for demonstrating the highest levels of legal professionalism and excellence in legal writing. In May 2017, Ms. Myers was inducted into the National Order of Scribes. Ms. Myers is sympathetic to the emotional strain many families endure in the field of domestic relations. Ms. Austin Dominick joined Pearson & Paris, P.C. as an associate attorney in December 2020, and will focus her skillset in the areas of family law, probate, and general civil litigation. She received her Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Dominick served as president for the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund, and was a member of the Environmental Law Society, Health Law Society, International Law Society, and the Women’s Law Caucus. Ms. Dominick also participated in the Washington Moderate Means Practicum where she worked on matters related to family, housing, and consumer law for those who cannot afford a full fee attorney yet exceed the low-income qualifications for free legal assistance. Having been born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, Ms. Dominick is an ardent supporter of the Colorado community. She comes from a long line of distinguished lawyers and is eager to continue the family legacy of helping those in need. Ms. Dominick has experience working with diverse clients at the Seattle Civil Rights Office, the Washington Moderate Means practicum and has experience in workers compensation as well as personal injury law. Scott A. Wilkonson, was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2004. He has over 15 years experience helping in the areas of Social Security Disability, Wills and Estate Planning, Landlord Issues and Property Management Assistance, Asbestos and Mesothelioma Claims, Corporate Formation and Residential Real Estate Transactions. Mr. Carbonneau joined Pearson and Paris, P.C. in March of 2021. Mr. Carbonneau received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado Law School. During his law school tenure, Mr. Carbonneau focused on building his litigation experience. He interned for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission’s Denver Office. There, he assisted both the trial and investigations teams in the detection of financial crimes and the prosecution of those crimes. After working for the SEC, Stephen worked for the Adams County District Attorneys Office where he appeared as a prosecutor in misdemeanor and traffic cases. After graduating law school in 2018, Mr. Carbonneau was offered a position with the Grand County District Attorney’s Office. In that role, Mr. Carbonneau was responsible for all aspects of prosecuting cases. He handled everything ranging from jury trials to motions hearings, bond hearings, appeals, and plea negotiations. In April of 2020, Mr. Carbonneau left his position with the Grand County District Attorney’s Office to start his own solo law practice. While thriving as a solo practitioner, Mr. Carbonneau broadened his expertise from criminal to other areas of law such as family law and landlord-tenant disputes. Mr. Carbonneau prides himself on his work ethic, attention to detail, and his ability to take complex legal theories and break them down into non-legal jargon, allowing clients to fully understand all aspects of their case. These skills allow Mr. Carbonneau to provide strategic legal representation which turns into positive results for his clients.
