About William
William Morris (“Bill”) joined Ivey, Barnum & O’Mara in 2022. Bill previously practiced for over ten years at Vouté, Lohrfink, McAndrew, Meisner & Roberts, a highly respected firm in Westchester County, New York, where he focused his practice on commercial litigation and real estate as well as the defense of tort claims involving professional liability, catastrophic personal injury, premises liability and wrongful death.
At Ivey, Barnum & O’Mara, Bill focuses his practice on civil and commercial litigation, employment disputes, personal injury, real estate and land use matters. Bill has extensive experience in all phases of civil litigation, from the inception of a lawsuit through its trial and appeal. Bill meticulously evaluates and zealously litigates his cases as if each one is headed for trial. He also seeks to extricate his clients from a lawsuit as early as possible, with a high success rate on dispositive motions. Mr. Morris has likewise been successful on appeals and has secured favorable settlements for his clients at the mediation table. These results have saved his clients’ valuable time, energy and resources.
Bill is admitted to the Bar of the State of Connecticut and the Bar of the State of New York. He also is admitted to the Bars of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Bill is a member of the Greenwich Bar Association.
