About William
William J. Turpit is experienced in general real estate matters, concentrating in common interest subdivision work for a wide range of planned residential communities throughout California. Prior to joining the firm in 1998, Mr. Turpit served for 13 years as associate general counsel for a large California home builder and owner/developer of retail, office and industrial properties. In that capacity Mr. Turpit handled diverse matters including land acquisition and sales, commercial leasing, construction disputes, commercial and residential landlord/tenant matters and common interest subdivision matters. He also provided legal counsel for day-to-day operations on new community development projects and for affiliated companies providing escrow services, mortgage loans, home furnishings and homeowner association management services.
