QUESTIONNAIRE
I was the attorney of record for a Civil Protection Order case. After a two day trial, my client received a 5 year Civil Protection Order against her soon to be ex-husband.
How did you build a successful practice?I was fortunate enough to have the right mentors and patient enough to wait for the right time to open my own practice.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?Honesty, good communication, ethical, hard worker, not afraid to stand up for their client.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?Very important. It's very helpful to know the local rules, procedures, judges and magistrates. It gives them the ability to give a realistic expectation.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?I help get people to a better place.
What are your other interests in addition to law?Spending time with my family, boating, sports, spending time with friends.
Are you involved in your community?I am a trustee for the University of Dayton School of Law Alumni Board. I am also a trustee on the board for the Abuse, Rape and Crisis Shelter of Warren County. My family and a live in a wonderful community and often attend and host various events for the children and the adults in our community.
